I don't know, even if it doesn't put Lanaboards in personal danger, I guess we could try to think how to share things - like this picture - might be damaging. And I don't want to be an hypocrite, I came here myself sharing things (that I didn't think were damaging in the beginning)... But I was wrong by doing so; some people kindly came to explain to me how anything that's said can be somehow harmful and I understood. I'm sorry to have contributed to that. I'm just afraid that this outta-control-thing might explode in the leaking of the song and who knows what will happen after that. I have this feeling that the more people talk about leaks and information that was spread in the backgrond, the more people who have information are prompt to share it and it's a reaction chain that can only end in the leaking of the song or even the music video. We know Lana's team should have been more careful with everything from the very first recording take, but now that this has happened I think we could, as fans, reflect a little by how we are helping our idol's work and mindset by what we post and share. After all, we can't blaim Lana for things that are out of her control. She is the artist, the creative one behind all this masterpiece that makes us feel so incredible year after year. She's not a manager and I don't believe it's up to her to take control of files or making contracts that forbid someone involved in the album's production of leaking information. Again, I don't want to seem a hypocrite or a teacher, I'm just worried about this situation and the proportion it has taken after these past few days... and I think we, all of us, are the ones which can help that now. My biggest fear in this community is to be somehow misunderstood, and I thought for a while if I should post this opinion in here... But were the exact people from here who contributed to my views regarding how information spreading can be damaging, so I decided to share this too; it may help someone as I was helped before. if I wrote something that sounds weird somehow, please, tell me so I can rewrite it with better words and avoid misinterpretation. I just want Lana to be happy about seeing her work come to life, that's all. Because it's through her personal mindset that we get her music and her art.

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Angel Fire replied to annedauphine's topic in Post-Release Threads
Hey, it was me. I'll find my original post and paste it here. I don't know if you guys ever realized that, but the Honeymoon instrumentals (and vocals) play a lot around the "time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future" theme (and some people here even say the Burnt Norton interlude is useless in the album, when, in fact, it's a major role in the understandment of the album themes) which I believe is a central role in the album and the thoughts Lana put in its creation. Like, if you listen to "Music to Watch Boys to" you can hear, right in the beggining, that the chorus without instrumental goes forward, while, in the back sound, the echoes are played backwards. We have this again in "High by the Beach" with the vocals being played going high and being repeated right after backwards and that goes throughout the entire song, everytime these "scream" (yawns? I don't know how to describe it) appear. The instrumental itself is also going forward and backwards sometimes. Art Deco brings it again, with the trip beats in the beggining being played forward and backwards. The instrumental in Burnt Norton is essencially this. Played forward and backwards, forward and backwards, giving the feeling of an endless loop. At the end or Religion the beats slow down to bring Salvatore, where the flutes are first going up and in a second beind played in reverse. And the best of all, right in the beggining you have the sound of a man crying compulsively, which is repeated a lot of times. The cry itself lenghts less than a second, but they repeat it like, 9 times, so it seems like a continously cry. At the end of the bridge, when the violins rise again (at the end of the piano part) you can see that the cry is now going up, like a laugh, 'cause they're playing it backwards. God, it's fu**ing amazing. This part is more notorious if you listen to the instrrumental isolated, you can find it in here: . I listened some of the same pattern in the Swan Song instrumental, but right now I'm not remembering to tell you especifically. Overall, that's just shows how Lana is a fu**ing incredible artist, how everything is planned and she is really focused in materializing an idea, a thought, a belief in what she creates. It's simply overwhelming. -
The album's not done yet guys, that's why she hasn't announced anything up to now and it's taking so long. She is aware of everything going on and her team is working FAST to keep the songs from leaking. If someone comes with "why I am going to believe you?", then just move on to the next post 'cause, though I am telling the truth, there is no way I would prove it. To believe it or not is an individual option. And I say this because I tried sharing information before and people are like "you're so fake" and stuff, so if that's what you think, move on. Oh, and I guess things are slower here on the thread now 'cause everyone who has some information (or even the songs) is trying their best to keep it to themselves since information has a way of spreading very fast and up to now, anything publicly shared could be threatening to Lana's project, which would be the worst thing to happen now. At least, that's my opinion. I'm really hoping I won't be misunderstood this time.

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Angel Fire replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
You guys, is there a post where people share their last.fm links? Oh, and this: do we an idea of how many songs she records for each record? Not an exact number, but a range. And by this I mean her latest two ones, UV and HM.
