YES. If a different artist made it, I'd consider it pretty good, but for Marina standards? Idk. The acoustic is truly the only listenable version, even if I still don't play it all that much.

Solitaire is one of my favorite songs on FROOT tbh. Especially the pre-chorus. The amount of slander it gets is ridiculous.

Am I the only one that really likes the production on FROOT? Especially on tracks like Gold, Solitaire and Froot

I guess the reason why I feel the energy of all the songs she's teased so far, so much, is because of the heartfelt lyricism. Even if Venice Bitch is not that deep and even though I didn't really connect with Sylvia Plath's acapella, MAC, Happiness Is A Butterfly, Cinnamon, How To Dissapear and now Hey Baby Blue and Stupid For Feeling So Happy, they all remind me of her acoustic songs from her Lizzy days in the sense that's she's trying to be a poet/writer more than a building up a great composition for the songs. Don't get me wrong, Jack's production has been amazing so far with all the delivered tracks, they are amazing even when the songs are not trying to sound grandiose like BTD songs did, or raw like UV was, or cinematic like Honeymoon, or whatever LFL's vibe was(no tea, no shade, i luv all my baes), they're trying to reach out to the listener with the lyrics and the chill vibe we've all been loving sonically. 
 
I'm so glad Lana's taking this direction and hope she keeps the same energy for when we finally listen to the whole album <3

...but she told us that the album would be out in 2019 and the first single will be out in january? isn't that enough of a time frame for you? her and her label clearly have a plan and, like she normally always does, is going to announce everything all together as she starts to release songs again.

(according to someone else, i didnt see the interview) Marina in the BB2 Radio interview said that her lead single is in January! sigh thats too fucking long but i can wait

^ and if this is true, marina is truly the queen of horrible marketing  instead of riding the neon gold x wave, and now the Baby wave, she waits till january i GOTTA laugh

the whole point of having Luis Fonsi on the song was to reach a wider audience, and yet she releases the single 3 months later? When all the hype has died down?
I wouldn't mind it being so late but Baby was built to be a hit and they waste that momentum for what? An album she has been sitting on for months...

from what I've been told, Drama Club is from MM2. For all we know, it could be an incomplete demo.
