an admittedly somewhat boring name change however if it fits well w the album I won't be mad, a simplistic and beautiful cover, a gross duet (but Luis Fonsi isn't featured on the album tracklist so ?? I can hope) and a brilliant lead single.

Mess I'm still hyped for NFR! Her teasers are everything and I still haven't overplayed Hope yet... y'all keep in mind that it's still quite close after LFL, Hope came out recently, she's been dropping music teasers for months, it's not like we're starving!

I don't think my stan card will ever fade! My first Lana album I loved was LFL, and to this day it is my favourite album of all time, tied with Melodrama. My next phase was Born To Die, and then Ultraviolence. I then started listening to a lot of the songs on Honeymoon because I think they are stunning as songs but I still can't manage to get all the way through the album, it all feels very 'all the same' to me. I wish I liked it though. And I think I probably will eventually. Something that is different about Lana's music to all the other albums I've loved in the past is their longevity. Once I started loving an album, I haven't stopped. LFL has been my #1 since its release. Ultraviolence is definitely in my Top 10, and has been for about a year. Born To Die has been in my Top 15 for ages as well. I get the sense that NFR is going to be my favourite Lana album yet, so I really can't wait!

Allie needs to get her mojo back. She's not gonna make it doing more things like Super Sunset, it's very basic and unoriginal. I get that she's trying to blow up, but I can't see her doing very well with more music like this. Billie Eilish is an example of someone who blew up by doing something different.

hope, for some reason! when it first came out I thought it was stunning but I haven't really clicked with it until a couple of weeks ago. it's my go to now! recently, OTTR has been my obsession as well.

a mess I would much rather have an at least somewhat genuine convo with Lana, even if it's just her gently explaining she wants to keep it relatively secret, than have a selfie. Fun fact I sat on a ferry next to Lorde! Melodrama is tied with LFL as my favourite album ever so I was totally shook but I didn't ask for selfies. We had a couple of nice convos, she complimented the cake I was carrying and her dog licked me! My proudest moment and I don't need a selfie cos I ain't forgetting that any time soon. basically we want her to record stunning vocals for the entire album, then smoke a shit ton of weed with rocky and record some backing vocals

It's unlucky that Lana doesn't have one, and it sucks, but I do think Bradley deserves his. Shallow is a stunning song and got what it deserved. someone get Gaga to present and make sure she sniffs more coke beforehand then we'll get the full name! a concept! Considering how St. Vincent went, I think it's possible in the alternative categories! I get the sense that NFR is going to be a fair bit less successful than LFL but possibly her most acclaimed album, and that may be reflected in the noms. But in any of the main categories, I doubt.

Anyone else actually love *some* of the LFL collabs? I agree the collabs with Playboi Carti and A$AP Rocky (although I love Rocky) seemed kinda cheap, and maybe Beautiful People Beautiful Problems too, but I really loved Sean on TNC and even Abel on LFL.

Ahhh okay, I remember that one. It's beautiful! I would love that to be a promo photo or like part of the album booklet or something but not the cover tbh. But I would love something similar to that; I think a sunny and surfy photo like this would help initiate the change to happier music she's hoping for.
