Actually there is another hint that her relationship with Mr. Campbell may not have been completely kosher. In one of the interviews in Evil's piece she says that she was in his car when he played her the Biggie song. Having attended such a school myself, I find it unusual that a female student would take a ride with a male teacher. Not saying it can't happen for innocent reasons, but unusual in a boarding school, specially in 2003.

I went to a convention yesterday, had a complete blast! it was amazing i had such a good time and i bought Cat ears and paws and some people asked me for pics  i always wanted to get asked for a pic, it felt increadible lol

Lana is familiar with these concepts and is aware of them, but only shallowly, she doesn't get them. Can't use them. It's even talked about in one of her lyrics, I think it's from Starry Eyed: "They say make Lemonade out of lemons I tried but I just can't understand it"
And if you look at the way she acts, like holds grudges etc. she really does not get it.
She talked about this interest of her in interviews and she did read the book "Ask and It is given", which is a book written by the person speaking in that video.

This makes some sense but I feel inclined to agree with @@lola and call it her 'Cobain act' tbh.
 
I think she loves and wants fame / recognition / adulation / etc. but at the same time feels she can't stay 'so legit' if she gives in to all that & doesn't simply create art for art's sake. 'Cause, you know, admitting that you want to be popular & worry about what other people think of you is basically the most un-'punk rock' thing you can do.
