I'm actually buying the music on release this era. I just recently got around to buying BTD (Ik, I'm a bit late just never had the money to buy it... and I had the digital version but now I have the cd and still need Paradise and UV which I'm buying today) but I'm actually buying the singles and album this time (and preordering the goddamn box set...)

Actually, I was thinking about the whole concept of Music To Watch Boys To (a girl watching boys with her eyes closed?? some hippie shit I can't remind very well) and I was imagining that the cloths we see her wearing in the art cover are going to be the ones she uses in the MV (like she did with WC) and we'll first going to see her doing some classy shit (lighting a some weed  cigar, walking around the house) and then she sits on a fancy couch, closes her eyes and BAM! we get on some good cinematics while she's on a boat (??) and we see the hot guys doing some sports, and that's pretty much it haha

thank god we're leaving the constant B&W in the ultraviolence coffin

Can you not? Like this is the first sight of her since the last show and people are excited, not a big deal. It's not like u will die because of a new thread and its not like this site is super active and full of new threads, if the mods feel the need they will merge.

Also, you're making it seem like hits are always generic songs when they're not. I mean, look at Video Games. Did it hurt BTD's quality? Or Amy's Rehab. Or Gotye's Somebody That I Used to Know. I personally don't like the last one, but it surely is an alternative track yet hit the mainstream without "compromising" quality and being taken seriously. It's not like @@leaked_version is saying she should do a track with Dr. Luke featuring Iguana Analbleeding and sing it at the VMAs.

I suppose LDR could have wanted to make it difficult for the label to try to modify the HM song in the final release, so she promo-ed it *now* for self-preservation of the original artistic concept. Of course this is just a paranoid speculation. I'm loving the atmosphere she created: these lush strings, Lana crooning and those chants on the background. The more I listen to it, the more I love it.
It's not a party song for sure, you have to listen to it alone and it will make you "dreaming away your life".     

After listening to it for like 10 times in a row:
 
it's beautiful but definitely too slow  I was expecting the 'We could cruise to the blues...' part to be more cheerful (it's kinda depressing) Harmonies and instrumental on point, giving me that 60's Italian movie vibe  Don't like the bridge (not here for recycling Video Games' drums and that Brooklyn Baby melody The outro is the best thing of the song, giving me Great Gig in the Sky vibes, fantastic 

She looks much more mature for some reasons. I'm extremely here for this look I'm getting heavy 60'-70' vibes. The haircut puts her eyes in light. Really one of the best selfies for me. This and marriage equality I feel so blessed. I always think I'm done but her stunning beauty explodes me every time 

I am way less concerned about his skills and style than rather about Lana's choices for hair, make-up and clothes this time around. The awful, awful lip liner, the dress from the Golden Globes, and that awful dark purple lipstick in the honeymoon snippet.
 
I think it very difficult for artists to find a photgrapher who really captures what their are going for. It's not that easy at all. I think his work with her was great. I prefer it over Nicole's.
 
and also: he started following the honeymoon account the day she got her new hair? interesting.

That makes me even more excited as those are among her best songs!

Gaga finished recording Heavy Metal Lover 2 weeks before the album was released and Talk That Talk was made in a month. I don't care if she's still in the studio right up until the last minute because I know she has a good work ethic and is constantly giving 100%.

Ultraviolence: Honeymoon Edition would have been the perfect name for a re release tbh
