I know what you mean. The very first time I heard the Brooklyn Baby snippet, it instantly reminded me of Summertime Sadness. I haven't managed to get them mixed up though... yet.

Yeah, me too however I can't sing it, each time I've tried I ended up singing Summertime Sadness 
The melodies of both songs are similar at one point, but the SS one is stronger... I don't know if this makes any sense lol

I'm a little disappointed after my first listen. The lyrics are weird. The rhythm seems off at times. The chorus is repetitive. The end of the song seems kind of jumbled/all over the place/too much at once. And I feel like it could be stronger.
 
Maybe I need to warm up to it but these were my first impressions.

I'm glad that she doesn't use the left-out footage of the West Coast video like some of you assumed ! I hope she has an epic idea popping up in her mind because a song called Ultraviolence deserves to get an iconic music video.

Some of you saw an earlier version of this already, and I was originally going to post this when Tropico would go live on Vevo but I just wanted to show everyone because I worked hardcore on it!
