  1. now THIS is the Ashley target audience
  2. Okay so let me tell you about this extremely vivid dream I had a few days ago. I wrote everything i remembered down when I woke up the chorus of the single started with "don't act like i'm not crazy" second verse had a line about "saving hits" and it sounded very mardi gras esque like fiesta-y and the video was of a small round swimming pool in the middle of a park and lana was walking along the walls underwater in red heels no news so I resorted to dreaming my own lmao
  3. One of Us is a great song Ideally I would love Lana to completely plagiarise Try and Love Again by Eagles. Would be so perfect thematically on Honeymoon
  4. Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future And time future contained in time past. furtureretro
  5. Hey, watch out! You are THIS close to taking my title as the most bitter member here!
  6. umm it seemed pretty obvious to me they were "imaginary" cause before he's said how she is so "unreal". By the time this rolls around you will all be saying "i miss the honeymoon era :("
  7. I dont believe she is in the illuminati. She is a christian! She is even holding rosary beads in this outtake from the Summertime Sadness video.
  8. Ugh, songs like THIS on Honeymmon please..
  9. genuinely shocked a buzzfeed writer has yet to stumble upon this and steal it

trash cover. actually thinking of download her album....
  12. although I'm not a fan of either, they are definitely more original and interesting than her. I'm just saying they are kind of in the realm of these new age "internet artists" who's fans only exist on twitter
  13. wow.. what a disgusting attitude http://iamhalsey.com/post/123208980701/which-halsey-songs-are-about-matty you should be glad people are even listening to your trash music, let alone taking the time to actually dissect them as if to say that you are actually interesting as an artist
  14. i think it will sell well actually, I'm honestly so shocked at how much of a following internet artists have... like her marina and melanie martinez
  15. no they are really not. It is FACT that H*lsey (stupid fucking name by the way) is completely unoriginal and had repurposed and plagiarised from other artists. It was only opinion that lana was "fake" mainly because of her lips
  16. LMAOOO I saw this in a tumblr post of reasons why she's such an amazing artist and I was like... Those lyrics are pathetic. And they listed her being bisexual as a reason to like her, how fucking ridiculous, you should like somebody based on their sexuality? Tumblr tries way too hard to put people that aren't straight on a pedestal it's SO strange.

    Azealia Banks

    whens her movie out tho
  18. I want a track with a spoken word section
  19. and I just had another thought As Lana is so strongly connected to these buzzwords which go into her music or become album titles, I feel like that can be hindering to writing a song sometimes. Like I was never a fan of the song Ultraviolence, I don't like the lyrics. it sounds like she named the album and THEN wrote a title track, so the song would kind of be limited to having to include that word or whatever and I feel like that is the same for Honeymoon. Born To Die was totally different as the song had already been written and all these other album titles were floating around her head, and that song is definitely one of her best.
  20. I am so pleased once again it sounds like she has consciously tried to do something different. I love the fact that she does kind of stay in the same realm but she stretches that pretty much as far as it can go, I mean she is the most streamed female in the US and she is making music like this!! That to me shows she really has integrity Honeymoon really emulates an air of Billie Holiday to me, the twisted undertone to the song is really interesting. Even in this love song there are really gloomy strings which sound like they belong in a 1950s horror movie score, and each vocal and breath is so considered, a polar opposite to a track like Pretty When You Cry. Her description of late night drives has me really excited, and I love how she has been updating on info through the honeymoon instagram account. and her face is just flawless in the short clip at the beginning. As far as the lyrics go, the vast majority of songs from the period she seems to be finding inspiration from really contain some lyrics that would be so laughable if sung today, I just think you have to listen without having a critical mind, we know she can write and I'm sure she will prove any doubters wrong in the other 13 tracks. Though personally I don't find any problems in the lyrics of Honeymoon. Again her voice sounds so beautiful and she's using it in different ways, i'm excited to see whats next
