I believe she said that something was coming during Aquarius season, not the album specifically and I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be Butterfly but it got delayed and released a little later bc of the wildfires in LA

HOLY SHIT how ENERGETIC Cupid's Girl is, I love this song so much! It's so fast and upbeat, it's like the upbeat tracks from Electra Heart and Ancient Dreams combined with a dash of Love + Fear as well but it's still so different from what has she done. But the tempo is actually quite similar to Ancient Dreams title track! And I absolutely love the sound effects in that song, so incredible. I loooove the synths in the beginning and I love the arrow squash noises after the chorus and before the beat drop! And the bow string pull sounds in the end! I love her high vocals as well but I love her vocals on the verses, like Froot title track vocals! Such a fun and awesome track, I love it, listened to it for 3 times, I need radios to play it!

That’s been her fandom for years - she gets constant hate for not sounding like her previous records.
A lot of people said they disliked froot initially and now it’s her best record ever and she’s never beaten it…
Butterfly / Cupid seem to lean into the quirky and indie pop vibes she had when she started. Not saying everyone has to like them but overall they’re just fun tracks. /shrug
