NOPE!! She is going to keep delaying it, but it is expected in the Upper East Side in NYC. Her personality fits in very well there, and she doesn't have to make an effort. Except, the people of lanaboards stand together, and have each other's backs when it comes to Lana. We might talk smack about her instagram friends, but we do it to their faces, not behind their backs. Also, we go out to eat, and ACTUALLY EAT!!! I was anorexic and bulimic about 18 years ago, (I went from a size women's 3/4 to a children's size 11, and weighed 87 lbs, with an 18" waist) it was my friends and my mother, who threatened to have me committed to a food rehab, if I didn't gain a healthy amount of weight. Those are true friends, they wanted me healthy and made sure that someone was there to eat with me and keep me occupied to keep me from vomiting the food up. Also, being a neurosurgeon residents, I knew that I couldn't let my eating disorder out (by going into a rehab) as the hospital would get involved. I am now a neurosurgeon, healthy, and a healthy size for my 5'4" frame. I have to thank my friends, who still make sure that I am eating healthy and keeping it down, and all that my mother did (she passed away from a rare cancer nearly 3 years ago). The point is I am not sure how committed these instagram friends are to her, and would they still hang out with her if she wasn't famous which is a shame considering it is obvious as this point they have a large part in keeping Norman Fucking Rockwell behind bars.

I- I'm tired of theorizing atm at least, and it's great that we're discussing track placements and all, but what I've leanred from this record is that Lana's keeping mum on everything she'll b releasing til like a week or so beforehand (happened like twice already) Which is great bc we don't have to b lingering every second. I honestly doubt she'd overdo anything til DT's out, and even then, that has a waiting period til who else knows when exactly.

Here's the thing though, we've seen her without makeup before. We've seen her dressed casually before. And I think most of us didn't really care or have anything to say about that. No think pieces, no essays, no nothing. I don't remember seeing anyone worrying about her mental health because she left her fake lashes at home, or wore jeans with a plain t shirt instead of a gold lame dress to go grocery shopping. A change in one's appearance alone doesn't have to mean anything. But there's a lot more than that going on, and if you consider all these things, you can't blame people for their reactions. She doesn't look free, she looks lost. She doesn't look confident, she looks like she's given up on life. Her empty smiles mean nothing to me. I'm suicidal and I smile all the time. Brief moments of joy captured in film mean nothing. When I  look at her I don't see a strong, mature woman who gives 0 fucks and is living her best life without a care in the world -without having to worry about her lipstick smudging or her eyeliner flaking. I see an aimless, dejected little girl. She has lost her drive, and it shows. Her actions show that, as does her lack of action. Her choices, professionally and creatively. I would be right there agreeing with you if nothing else was amiss. But everything's changed, and we're not shallow for acknowledging that. Examining something on its own is different to examining it as part of a bigger picture. There is a bigger picture here.

Idk, I can vibe with her rejecting standards of beauty. I lowkey like the Hope cover (drag me)- it's like I'm sitting next to her and she's showing me the song, or watching her while she's doing the iPad bit from the song or whatever. A professional photo wouldn't have gone with the vibe of the song, which is a glimpse into her thoughts and feelings at the time. If NFR is alive and not a complete mess then I'm guessing that'll be the theme. Candid, raw, a departure from her old image. One of the most glammed-up women dropping the facade that beauty and submission are easy or worthy things to strive for is pretty powerful, especially in the Trump era. 
 
But then she turns around and goes to Hillsong with friends who def seem homophobic. So idk what to think.
