^ I'm not asking this in regards to any one particular video. Does anyone know of an instance where this has happened to a video from any year? I'm also curious about who owns the rights to a live performance video in general. Hypothetically, let's say I videotape Monicker performing a song he wrote. Would I be within my rights to post it? Now lets say Monicker performs a song he wrote and I play saxophone on it and he records it. Would he be within his rights to post it? Would I have any legal basis to prevent him? Monicker, you need to tell your lawyer girlfriend to bone up on intellectual property law.

Is anyone aware of any instances where had a live video taken down from an account that wasn't affiliated with Lana? I'd really appreciate it if someone who pays attention to these sorts of things could answer that.

Are you saying you're holding back sentiments in agreement or disagreement with that statement? I'm 99% sure it's the latter, so I guess it falls to me to offer a limited defense of Bestest's comments: I'm not going to defend the terms in which Bestest expressed his point of view, but I will defend his point of view because I agree with it. I've never found Amy Winehouse attractive. At all. I get that some guys probably do. I'm not one of them. However, I don't see how either opinion is relevant to an appreciation of her voice. Regarding the original topic of this thread, I don't think Lana would be as well-liked or as hated if she didn't look the way she does.

I think it was less a ridiculous claim and more an instance of a music "journalist" covering his ass in the absence of any official sourcing. However, aside from the fact that its authenticity is obvious to my ears, the name "May Jailer", the album title Sirens, and the song titles "Junky Pride" and "A Star For Nick", all have solid receipts.

He was also arrested by the FBI for allegedly hacking Sky Ferreira's e-mail and Facebook account to steal material to leak. There is much speculation within the fan community that he may have done the same to Lana, but even with the Sky Ferreira hacking, I still believe in the principle of innocent until proven guilty.
