I so agree. Honestly the SNL thing here in America is so yesterday and people have def. moved on. If she caught another act on SNL people would def. move on and not think twice. We literally have 0 promotion here, and I think the only reason shes mastering here is by word of mouth and all the celebrities over here love her.

I don't want her too, but at the same time I do. She could prove all of those bitches wrong and everyone would be in shock. People would watch it to see her fail and she would fly, it would be great. But I doubt seriously she would do it, just food for thought. America wouldn't care if she did good though, because thats just how they are, its really sad actually.

I kinda just feel she just looks kinda, wore out. The light hair and bright clothes really made her look refreshed and exciting.

I am not saying this to be passive aggressive, but as a sincere suggestion for what i think would benefit the whole of the forum, seeing as how things have been getting kind of unwieldy around here lately. On another forum that i frequent there is a long, on-going thread called "Thread for various insignificant questions that don't deserve their own thread" and it works nicely. It's a place for these sort of smaller questions that pile up but don't really lend themselves to a whole thread. Anytime someone has one of these questions they can just pop in there and ask it, and it most likely gets answered because the thread as a whole tends to be of interest to most people, given the array of general topics. Just a thought.

I agree with you Pinup, Ellen knows how to make her guests comfortable. I'd love to see the interview and how she'll ask very private and intimate questions to Lana.

I think Lana is treading on thin ice here with her negative comments about America/Americans. It is undoubtedly true that her biggest critics have been music critics/bloggers who are based primarily in the US (and particularly NY) but there are many, many people who are either fans, or are unaware of her (because of the lack of any promotion in the US, and I mean any!). US remains the biggest market by far, and best strategy for Lana would be to not comment about US at this point. I believe that ultimately the hater community in US is going to move on to some other obsession, and if Lana keeps improving in her live performances, I can see her coming back to SNL to great acclaim in a couple of years, not just as a musical guest, but as the host!!

She quoted a saying saying "go where it's warm and loved" in her latest interview. She was supposed to perform on the Ellen Degeneres show, she never did. I think she's scared, she knows that she'll cause drama if she does the SNL again. I want her to go back to prove everyone wrong, but I don't think she's ready vocally wise. And people will jump in every breach she'll make.

I don't see why not! There are plenty of people that perform multiple times on SNL.
 
Her vocals have definitely improved (compare SNL or her French concert to anything from this year), and if she sang the right songs, I think she would fare better.
 
However, if she sings Body Electric and Ride, then no. Girl's gotta switch it up. SNL is a fast paced improv show and between breaks, people don't want to hear slow crooning.
