In Damn You, I thought the last chorus said "I pray you'll never sleep with a girl" or something along those lines.... and then it was 200x better when I found out the real lyric.

It's actually "I grew up on..." rather than "I was into..." But it's kind of interesting how Lana pronounces certain words when she sings. In that line you just quoted, she loses the "h" in "hop hop," so it comes out "You were kinda punk rock, I grew up on ip hop..."
 
She also tends to say "Wit" instead of "With." Video Games: "Heaven is a place on earth wit you." Ride: "I've been trying to hard / wit one pretty song."

But the first bunch of times I heard Blue Jeans, i heard 'I was into air pop' instead of 'I was into hip hop', which I thought was so specific and funny and awesome, it was a big reason I got hooked into that song. I was a little disappointed when I found out the proper lyric, but by that point I was hooked already.

This is really embarrassing, but sometimes instead of "take your body downtown" in VG, I hear "take the bloody damp towel".

I have been reading about Jimmy Gnecco on here, which I knew little of besides his band Ours (from 3 or 4 songs previous to my LDR appreciation). I came to consider that she mostly sings about him.
That song Jimmy Gnecco is obvious. I guess She's Not Me too. There are some other little things I can't remember right... But one line in Is It Wrong, a song which seems to be inspired by Gnecco, makes me think he is the guy. The verse is "It's all for you", which she repeats in some of her songs. Sorry if this has been brought up already. Long thread.

Loving UV from top to bottom. But Cruel World, Sad Girl, Pretty When You Cry, West Coast, Black Beauty, The Other Woman and the title track are killing me softly.
I love this woman. Flawless singing, heavenly nostalgic melodies.

She also cancelled the performance on BBC and they didn't make a fuss about it, it's very unprofessional for them to boycott her. An artist can cancell a gig at anytime, it's not uncommon.
 
It surprised me to see how Lana became such a easy target for those so called fans to attack her. She cancelled an event and suddenly she doesn't care about her fans? ( even though she demonstrated over those last three years to be one of the most kindness and generous person ever). Well, I guess that's what you get when your fans are 16 years old who "love" a singer different every month - they just  fail to see her as a person capable of getting sick or having feelings.

We met Ben outside Lana hotel in Paris on August 25th and he put us on the guest list for the Trianon show that evening, that was later cancelled, then they rescheduled it on September 14th so I travelled again to Paris to see her and it was cancelled again. The only time I felt lucky in my life turned out to be such a nightmare. But Im not mad or anything like that, just disappointed maybe, but I still love Lana so fucking much and respect her even more. I saw so many "fans" being fucking rude and overly very dramatic over this thing. And now Virging start acting lame too? This is so unnecessary. Move on people it's just a fucking show.

I just want to see her well and happy or at least not depressed. If she has to take some time off, it is fine by me.

Well, I doubt that Lana would look exactly like this (she has different style), though she did look kinda...different...  clothes wise back in her Lizzie Grant days. I'm glad that she caught on.
I agree about the unfortunate implications of fat in his works, though to me the scarest thing is the redneck, unintelligent look he goes for.
