  1. I was confused about that too at first, but I think it's Violet as a person's name, not the flower.
  2. it's ok we all make mistakes, glad you've come to your senses <3
  3. I hate to admit it, but there has definitely been a decline in terms of looks with Lana. She used to put so much effort into her outward appearance, but it's been kinda on a slippery slope starting 2017. Her visuals used to be a continuation of the vibe she was going for with each era, but it's been kinda hit or miss these past two-three years. I'm not saying I loved everything Johnny Blue Eyes threw on her, but most of these looks are iconic imho, more so than some of what she's worn after they stopped working together. I've always think (and will continue to) that Lana is a beautiful woman regardless though. Anyway, these are honestly my favourite red carpet looks of hers: I don't really have time right now. But I'm definitely going to make a post of all my favourite performance looks of hers! (those vintage/custom made doll dresses she wore 2013-2016 )
  4. Lana changing her lyrics while performing her songs on stage, to reflect however she's feeling at the moment is often annoying to me. I know a lot of people live when celebrities are being shady, but it's just kinda cringe and juvenile imho.
  5. Here I go: Radio Ride God Coast Terrence Loves You Get Free The greatest For real I feel like she's foreshadowing her "going back to her roots", it'd be really cool to have a real lush 60s type of sound, with a touch of psychedelic rock AND actual doo-wop influences. I feel like she could really snap this time around.
  6. I just read a comment on Reddit, that person suggested that COCC might be a country album
  7. if you're willing to spend 300$ then yes
  8. at least we can hope for Nicole Nodland's glorious comeback on COCC. But King Neil Krug remains outmatched.
  9. Not sure, now that you mention it I feel like he was still there for the LATTMT... There was def a bit of commotion with her core team around 2017-18 though.
  10. For real something must've happened in 2017, both Stella and Anna left, as well as her bass player Kevin As for Dua, she's been looking fly ever since (for the most part, I don't dig every 90s hairstyles she's been sporting tbh).
  11. Remember when Anna Cofone used to do Lana's hair, until she permanently moved back to London to focus on Dulla Peep?
  12. I support this so much wow What flower represents an album >>> what colour the vinyl is going to be
  13. I legit acknowledged that she is not only flawed, but also tone deaf and completely oblivious and unaware on important current issues/societal problems, has a track record of problematic/less than smart behaviour in her lyricism/narrative, visuals, overall art, on top of being a very poor verbal communicator. All of that. But go off.
  14. The bigger picture is that you're looking to be offended on something that happened circa 2012-13, like what does it do to call her out on this now 7 or 8 years later? The headdress in the 'Ride' music video, Lana portraying a chola woman in 'Tropico' and I would even add her trying to be hispanic with not only her name, but with certain lyrics as well as her earlier/daddy issues or submissive attitude etc. The ethics of all of that has already been discussed and debated ad nauseam for almost a decade now. I understand the need to educate her, because I'll be the first to say that she is socially unaware on certain very important current issues and what they imply, as well as being a poor verbal communicator and obviously tone deaf. We are at crossroads in these day and age. There's definitely a need for immediate social change. But there are stuff some of y'all need to let go geez.
  15. True, but my point was that we still had more from that album by that time compared to now.
  16. She teased the title track late May if I recall correctly, and went on to release it like halfway through June. We got nothing thus far.
  17. I don't know if that's unpopular, but often times when people mention their favourite songs off 'NFR!' I rarely see the title track. Granted, this is not my favourite album and I don't particularly like the production here (nor the opening line), but there is something very dreamy about the title track. I grew to actually love this song and it's honestly become one of my favourites from the album. "You make me bluuuuuuuue, bluuuuuuuue"
