  1. Honestly the piano might sound like complete and utter shit and the muffled quality of the vocals might not be it for me, but besides the "Goddamn man-child, you fucked me so good that I almost said I love you" cringy lyrics, this might be my favourite song off the album.
  2. I was about to run my mouth, but I've been told they are circulating.

Never thought I would thank you for something, but the day has come. Thank you for this, SYTH. Any chance the instrumental to 'Body Language' has leaked as well? Unpopular opinion: Miami is the best song on 'Isolation'.
  4. @@RormanNockwell is a psychic: confirmed. The devil works hard, but honey, Rorman works harder and that's the tea.
  5. We just need Dan Auerbach to return and push Lana to her artistic high once again and it's all good.
  6. I've been listening to a lot of 80s music recently, I'm stuck with this one.
  7. I thought I'd refrain from commenting these threads. But let's say that the person that sent this to me and didn't want me to share is a bonafide like they legit told me after I leaked their shitty snippet "we could've been friends, but you chose to be a bitch" like I'd want to be friends with someone that hoards on leaks and begs people for insta followerss in order to share what they've got. I'm so over the leakers/hoarders culture at this particular point. For what it's worth, it ain't never gonna change.
  8. All the good shit happened in the pre-release thread, drama of the century if you ask me. This boring ass post-release thread was basically fueled with me going on tangents ad nauseam and fighting the good fight about how interminably boring, cheap, lackluster and amateur through and through this whole era is, and also @@Jared (bless his poor soul) coming in to chime in about "cRiTiCal AcClAiM!!1!" and nothing else. If Lana doesn't care about this era and does the absolute bare minimum, then neither should we at this particular point.
  9. Well, JohnnyBlueEyes is lost and gone. It ain't happening.
  10. I hope you're kidding. I mean Lanz is a beautiful woman, but let's not kid ourselves; she doesn't have the most natural looking facial features. Let's call a spade a spade.
  11. I honestly don't understand the fuss about the post the other day, she looked great imho. Y'all hating ass b hating on a shade of blonde smh. But ewww Jackoff.
  12. I literally just noticed you namedropped me, thanks for thinking of me in these dull and dark times, sweetie. That's how dead this thread is (and also LB right now). You can seethe. Also, in the grand scheme of things (and Lana's entire discography) and almost seven months post release: 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' still is very middle of the road and almost entirely forgettable. It's overrated for sure, I'd call it her worst, but 'Lust for Life' exists. In that case, it's second to last. But if I were to rank all her albums solely based on production and mastering, on 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' Lana has really hit a new low.
  13. and certainly still expect Jack to deliver lackluster & half baked instrumentation with very minimal/entry level production and mastering skills on every single track.
  14. You bet your ass I would call in sick just to go to any Disney parks. though I'd be smarter than Lanz and try not to get caught ffs
  15. True. But she doesn't seem overly sick here either, granted it's been close to a week since the initial announcement. But there's still something off about her in this little update. Also, she needs to lay off the fillers. She doesn't need that, she's beautiful as is imho.
  16. Maybe, just maybe, 'NFR!' happens to be Lana's least Lana Del Rey-esque album and is simply her most "palatable" and least controversial album compared to her past work. Also, musically speaking it speaks to a broader audience, like you mentioned a lot of other iconic artists and I do think that her work on 'NFR!' resembles a lot of what you've mentioned stylistically speaking. We're far from the trip-hop/baroque pop sound of 'Born To Die', the raw rock-ish/blues-y atmospheric sound of 'Ultraviolence' and the cinematic/classical music meet muddy trap beats of 'Honeymoon'. 'NFR!' is very, for a lack of a better word, "generic" compared to these albums, it certainly is her least avant-garde work thus far (besides maybe 'Venice Bitch' with its long instrumental outro). It's not a surprise to me how well this album was received by the very same critics that weren't so gentle and appreciative of Lana's early work. It's not a bad record by all means, it's just pretty beige for Lana and the production just happen to be very hit or miss with all her fans. I've seen a lot of discussion on here as well as on Reddit and even Instagram, and there were people on both sides (stans and detractors of 'NFR!') that weren't too open to the idea of Lana going back to work with Jack Antonoff. I for one would be thrilled if she would either go back to work with Dan Auerbach (seriously listen to his work on Yola's 'Walk Through Fire' album the production is just superb, even of not for the production this album is really beautiful. His Grammys noms for best producer this year was well earned I think) or just work with a someone she's never worked with before.
  17. This isn't the right thread, but 'The Slow Rush' is a really amazing album. Not my favourite Tame record, nor his strongest if I'm being honest. But after a five year wait, this is a breath of fresh air and I'm really digging the groovy approach on this record.
  18. Sorry, I assumed you were French given you mentioned ordering 'NFR!' from FNAC way back in this thread, my bad. But I stand by what I said. It's a discussion board. I can come here and talk about what I don't like about this album ad nauseam, because last time I checked the guidelines of the board it's not against the rules to talk about the album in any shape or form. If you don't like my comments, move along. In no way should I refrain myself from discussing my likes and dislikes for mere LB users (I am a mere user also just to be clear).
