  1. I don't know if it did change for fact, but it probably sounded different because it was just a recording from her phone? The piano progression before she sings "but you're just a man" sounded a bit more intense, now it sounds more subdued idk, it's hard to tell from that shitty recording.
  2. that's an interesting way to put it, I would agree to some extent, but "cohesive" is not really a word I would use to describe that
  3. I find them to be creepy tbh, but I've also read a ton of stories about them getting in the way of other fans, and being rude and pushy, just so they can have their millionth barricade selfie with her... but those are stories for another thread
  4. I genuinely believe that this is a direct reference to that group of fans that attend every single one of her shows. Not going to mention names, but they know who they are lol.
  5. Am I the only one disappointed that she didn't change the tour lyfe and babies lyrics in HIAB? Like the song is beautiful but its lyrical "construction" is very nonsensical, like talking about serial killers and those fans in the same song??
  6. I think I would agree if it weren't for the fact that L*st for Life exists.
  7. if I'm being honest, since L*st For Life I've found more and more lyrics from Lana to be kinda cringey and not sound too melodic... oops
  8. That's possible, I think it could probably get a nomination for best pop vocal album or something, but like Album of the year? That's a stretch I think, while critics might've soften up to Lana a little in the past couple of years, I don't think she caters to big award shows tbh.
  9. To me her instagram comment about him was more than enough, name dropping him... I feel like Kanye is an easy target these days and it's really easy to paint him as crazy and delusional. She could've easily replace that lyric.
  10. waaaait a second, there's a huge difference between music you can twerk to and just lackluster type of production, both Honeymoon and Ultraviolence both had stellar instrumentals and even though they were somewhat stripped down, but they didn't feel flat to me, whereas most of the songs on NFR kinda feel that way to me so far
  11. I mean I'm really digging the sound she went for don't get me wrong, but as much as I really enjoy songs like The Greatest, HIAB, NFR even Venice Bitch, it's not much the fact that they are stripped down, but the fact that they sound kind dry/flat regardless of the beautiful instrumentals?
  12. I know it's shit quality, but is it just me or do the songs kinda lack percussions/some sort of beat? I mean Cinnamon is amazing, but the rest of the album is somewhat flat comparatively to her all her other albums???
  13. Come on guys, ofc I'm excited for this album, and there are songs I'm really looking forward to hear in full... but I can't help thinking that Jack's production makes none of these songs really stand out.
  14. I honestly hope that none of these snippets are foreshadowing her most subdued album to date... that production is flaaaat.
