  1. Calm doen. I just said that it doesn't seem to be a top priority for her. I'm also pretty confident that all the viarants are either a) for the fans, b) something from her label since it's an easy way to make money with the vinyl resurgence in past years.
  2. It's not that, it's just that we feel as though Lana doesn't care about charting to a certain extent.
  3. LMLYLAW is arguably one of her worst released songs and most underwhelming singles.
  4. The title track is one of my favourite songs on NFR, but I hate how tinny/flat, whitenoisey and simplistic the piano is on that song. Beautiful is far from being my favourite on BB, but at least the piano is intricate and, well, beautiful.
  5. If numbers were a concern to her she would've promoted her albums past Born to Die. I doubt she cares, she's making music for the sake of making music and isn't too bothered (to a certain extent) about the extra parts of being a recording artist.
  6. I beg to differ. Strictly talking about the piano part, I'll take a White Dress, BBS, Violet for Roses, Beautiful, Blue Banisters over a Love song, NFR title track, hiadtfawlmth-bihi and/or LMLYLAW anyday.
  7. At this point you just have to expect Lana to make piano based records/songs, like she's clearly comfortable in that zone/style and there is nothing wrong with that, when it's done well of course.
  8. I agree that Blue Banisters feels more like a mixtape than an album, and that the sound quality and lack of effort to re-record the songs might diminish the quality of the album as a whole, but the original songs are amazing and I daresay better than most songs on NFR & Chemtrails.
  9. I'm kinda over people shitting on BB and implying that it's a mid/bottom-tier album. I reckon that if she had not use the YouTube/LQ rip of the leaked songs and actually re-recorded them, people would actually respect that album the way it deserves. The original songs on that album are some of her best in years, as songs but also as examples of production creds. Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes, Gabe Simon, Miles Kanes; they're all great producers.
  10. Not going to rehash this discussion, because this horse was beaten to death, especially on this thread, but the Jack Antonoff sound is messy/unfinished on a lot of songs with Lana
  11. Might be delusional, but I hope the boxset turns out to be a full sized one like she did for Ultraviolence, the type of boxset that can fit a vinyl. I don't mind the smaller boxsets that can fit a CD, but I much prefer when artists put out an actual BOX.
  12. I'm pretty confident it was for Honeymoon, she didn't cover Billboard for Ultraviolence.
  13. This visuals so far are really nice and cohesive, this album will be for the coquette girls.
