I don't remember exactly (that was before Furure Nostalgia even came out), but she expressed how much she'd like to collab with him. I believe he's one of the most important/influential musician in the industry right now. This guy has an unmatched talent for melodies. I'm not a Dua stan by any means, but I'm perched.
  2. This has me thinking that she should've used "There's Nothing Wrong Contemplating God Over the Chemtrails Under the Country Club" as a song/album title

You can thank the local gay on the Tame Impala subreddit.

She's allegedly working with Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) she posted a pic of herself drinking wine at his house/studio in Los Angeles the other day.
  5. She's in-tuned with our emotions, she's being very benevolent. Love her for that.
  6. It still sounds fresh and vibrant to me
  7. But it's obviously mostly made up of NFR scraps though. It was still a cute, humble record though.
  8. The only thing that ties NFR together for me is the white noisey production. Her albums past Honeymoon they feel more like mixtapes to me, like a bunch of more or less cohesive songs that she recorded more or less at the same time and thought they were cute.
  9. The problem with Lana being in the studio with Jack, is that Jack is in the studio with Lana.
  10. I really do hope that for this record they turned the bass up and didn't muffle any instruments to the point of were they're inaudible. I want to hear it all in full force and properly balanced.
  11. She hasn't released a single cohesive album since Honeymoon.
  12. I feel like even if she reaaaally dragged it we'd still get it by April at the latest.
  13. Billie Eilish Pheobe Bridgers Taylor Swift Radiohead Kanye West Melanie Martinez Halsey Demi Lovato Justin Bieber Drake Cardi B Twenty One Pilots The Chainsmokers & NFR
  14. Manifesting a bone being thrown at us tomorrow.
  15. If you get it, you get it, if you don't, you don't, if you know, you know
  16. My only issue with this is that we're basing our impressions/expectations of the album/single based off of one single person's subjective opinion/impressions of said album/single. Our expectations are growing to biblical proportions, I really do hope the descriptions are accurate.
  17. I think people hyperanalyze Lana being over the album the minute after the release, because she seems to be jumping back into the studio the day the album drops. The only time Lana had a proper roll out with tons of visuals from the source material at hand... was for Born To Die/Paradise. She's been getting over her latest album since Ultraviolence, I doubt it'll be much different for LDR9.
  18. I just find myself very feeling doubtful, I'm sure the album will feature great tracks--all her albums do. But these insiders have been acting like Lana was not excited to release her past three albums like she just wanted to "get it out" of her system (mind you she dragged the NFR release for over a year, clearly there was no rush). I just don't think that that assessment is true. I think been she's excited for every release and doesn't feel a "rush" to release music in any capacity. So that idea that this album will be better because she's "excited" is a bit clunky imho.
  19. I thought she had already used all the (mostly good) scraps/leftovers for Chemtrails.
  20. I much prefer this analysis, to saying we're getting another random/understated record subpar/metallic production tbh. He said the album (or single?) would have a grand & rich instrumentation, so I'm content with that.
