Should I post a 10 min mega-mix version of Club classics + ?????? + Cc nrg + The remix featuring bb trickz I made or that's too extensive? I've lost my ability to judge, I'm way too obsessed with this song

yeah I find it weird that people get this mad about Charli "endorsing" the democratic candidate. It makes me think very few people understand American politics. Is Kamala without sin, no she could do more for Gaza and she does not have a spotless record, but no one does. Are there better candidates, sure, are there better candidates with over a 1% chance of winning the presidency, NO.
Complain all you want, but remember that a vote for a third party, no matter how charismatic they are, is a vote for Trump. Vote against him, rather than for her for all I care, but don't get conned into thinking you'll change anything by voting for some Indiana nobody that wants to end the war in Gaza. THAT is performative. Just protest any move she makes while in office that you don't agree with, because at least she isn't trying to dismantle democracy...

    Chorus:
I'm gonna ride you out to the edge of town
I'm gonna make it hot and make it loud
We're just living our life the best we know how
In shades of grey and shades of brown

    Verse 1:
Meeting on Sunday morning or 3 A.M.
Find our way back to the dude ranch again
Tall grass swaying under lazy sun
Wild horses run like they feel a rush
    We ain't in no rush

    Chorus:
I'm gonna ride you out to the edge of town
I'm gonna make it hot and make it loud
We're just living our life the best we know how
In shades of grey and shades of brown

    Verse 2:
    River rolls slow, slow-burn love
We were born proud, we were born tough
Hot like a fire for you, my desire
    Wildfire, I'm burning, wildfire
Dust on my boots, you can clean 'em off
    Late night stargazing on roof-tops

    Chorus:
I'm gonna ride you out to the edge of town
I'm gonna make it hot and make it loud
We're just living our life the best we know how
In shades of grey and shades of brown

    Bridge:
Nightfall soft, night in our hands
Dreaming of you through dust, smoke, sand
Whispering dirty jokes by the bonfire
Dreaming of you getting higher and higher
Higher and higher, lighter and lighter
Fire and fire, we're like fire and fire
White hot forever, lighter and lighter
Gettin me high, gettin you higher

    Outro:
    We'll be white-hot forever
    We're white-hot forever
We'll be white-hot forever and ever and ever, amen
    We'll be white-hot forever
    We're white-hot forever
We'll be white-hot forever and ever and ever, amen
    We'll be white-hot forever
    White-hot forever
White-hot forever and ever and ever, the end
    White-hot forever
    White-hot forever
White-hot forever and ever and ever, amen

Isolated PARTYGIRL: Ibiza for those that are interested (for the most part, I strayed away from separating anything that wasn't substantial enough, e.g. there's no 1 min songs just to splice out every single thing, I didn't have the energy lol: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1V5Ed-ZGN83X587t1wtcrUXhwLFoNKEEA?usp=sharing

I haven't listened to each track yet, but it should more or less flow well. Shoutout the some of the users on the Charli reddit for breaking down the tracklist (there are two that I absolutely could not find so I just made it up - they're tracks 22 & 26). Shoutout the person who uploaded this to Soundcloud with the sick cover art (included in the link).

Open to feedback, also included the full set in one track if anyone wanted to take this to another, more refined level.

One thought that has been around my mind since the announcement is how this is both a Sophie album and a celebration of Sophie’s music.

I kind of understand those fans that are kind of scared that sophie’s production might have been changed a bit in the process of completing this project… But I do think a lot that the people in charge of making these final decisions are precisely her family, friends, and close collaborators. People that actually took part in her personal life and creative evolution, people closely inspired by her and that, most probably, sophie was also inspired by them. People that Sophie loved and valued, and people that loved and valued Sophie - both in a personal and creative level -.

For that reason, not only I support, but I’m actually moved by the idea of this album being 95% sophie, 5% Sophie’s loved ones.

If small things have been changed, then so be it: those changes come from a place of love, celebration, and most importantly, respect, and for that reason I doubt anything major has been touched or reworked. This is not only sophie’s final album but also a celebration of her music and talent, brought to us by her loved ones, and I’m happy that this is the way that it has been chosen to be done.

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY TO THE ALBUM THAT CHANGED THE TRAJECTORY OF MUSIC

BTD was a cultural shift, but Ultraviolence cemented Lana's legacy in the public's eye as someone completely unafraid to follow her North star, express her art how SHE wants, and tell her story HER way even if other people think it's the wrong way (there's no wrong way to tell YOUR story). The critics and media had completely shunned her an inauthentic fraud who can't sing and she came back with an album that is nothing BUT authentic, ironic, and vulnerable!

We talk about how Lana inspired Lorde, Bille, Olivia, etc all the time but it was UV that really paved the way for the gritty, raw, truly ANGSTY feminine ...

One of the first Lana songs I heard was BTD (title track) and ... I was instantly lost in her vocals. I thought, who is this woman? Her voice is everything I need and everything I want. I must have listened to it 20 times in a row and loved the whole album. But, I was always (and still am) a rock girlie. I love classic rock, indie rock, heavy metal, etc more than anything else. SO, when Lana released UV it was like she made it for me  Lana's vocals were the best thing I'd ever heard in my life and now it was combined with electric guitar and moody production? It was love at first listen!

UV is probably the reason why even though most of my musical obsessions come and go in waves, I've stuck with Lana all these years and only fell more and more in love (despite her not really ever returning to that sound)

And as always, the visuals SERVED. Probably one of my favourite eras EVER for photoshoots, music videos, and looks. I still wish I was able to pull off the UV-style makeup.

Here's my ranking (in UV colours)
Warning, potentially controversial , and things ranked the same aren't in order because that's impossible

Shades of Cool 10/10 (INCREDIBLE vocals)
    Brooklyn Baby 10/10
    West Coast 10/10
    Ultraviolence 10/10
    Black Beauty 10/10
    Old Money 10/10
    Is This Happiness 10/10
    Cruel World 10/10
    Pretty When You Cry 10/10
    Money Power Glory 9.9/10
    Flipside 9.9/10
Fucked My Way Up to the Top 9.9/10
    The Other Woman 9.9/10
Guns n Roses 7/10 (Iconic but don't listen)
Florida Kilos 7/10 (Iconic but don't listen)
