FYI the Urban Outfitter of Montreal (on St-Denis) will play the album at 3pm on Saturday September 12th. I just went there and asked. The guy was not sure what I was talking about and went to see the manager. He said it won't be a party like some UO in the US (no drink or merch). They will simply play the record. Who cares, I'll bring my own booze and folding chair

In case anyone was still curious..
I went back to the Urban Outfitters today and decided to confirm what that poster was for. I asked the store manager, and she confirmed that it was in fact for a listening party, but the album won't be in stores until the 18th.
I've heard from other fans from lanaboards, instagram, tumblr etc. that their local Urban Outfitters had no information on this. I was also at a different Urban Outfitters on Sunday (than from the one I found the poster in on Saturday) and they didn't have the poster in their store, so I'm guessing this event is at select locations.
Also, I took a picture of the other side of the poster which says if you pre-order the album at the event, you'll be given a free lithograph.

? That's actually how most artists do it. It's basically similar to an award show after party... Grammys/ Oscars after party.
 
There's absolutely NOTHING awkward about a listening party. If you're awkward at a listening party, you're probably awakward IN GENERAL.. At any party sorry.

It has something modern-geisha about it. The only little negative point is the hair. I would have liked a discrete small and delicate flower arrangement dangling from the side of her head. Just a personal preference. I find it too plain.
 
A hairdo similar to this one would have killed me tbh (but without the sticks to keep it "minimalist" and modern)

Unfortunately no record label has shown any interest in Cold Coffee. Barrie is really sad about this. He is really proud of this album. Today he said on Periscope that he quits music. He said he has no inspiration lately but he will not stop writing songs. He will stop playing live. I really hope this is not a final decision. Also he said that he has a lot of songs and short movies and weird videos that are unreleased. And he played Riverside live on his guitar. He said that he wrote it 2,5 years ago and the original version was without Lana. Then he recorded it with Lana and now he can't release the song. He said he don't think it will ever be released and it is not his fault..
