I don’t think it will flop at all, music journalists who didn’t get her at first have turned around and seem very keen on hearing this project, I know I am very excited to hear it and it seems that there are so many out there who are impatient to play it. The expectations are high so it might sell fairly well for an album which isn’t really getting much promotion at all, but I guess no one will tell what we think of the album until we’ve played it through a few times.

hi, I'm new here and I've been reading this whole tread since it started and Jesus... some of you are fucking annoying. I know that it's been a while since Lana were "active" with this new era and yeah, I'm kinda bored too about the whole waiting for the album but some of you are so disrespectful. 
 
You talk shit about everything and justify that the reason why you do that is because of the lack of info we have right now... I mean, do you really think that is a good reason to do that? It's just embarrassing lmao. 
 
The funniest part is that some of you too talk shit about the snippets of the songs she posted on Instagram, saying that is boring (like she's gonna post the best part of the songs) or that the lyrics are weak or cringy or wtv (Hope and MAC are lyrically one of the best from her since, maybe, Honeymoon... most of LFL had really wack lyrics) but you didn't even have listen the fucking full songs or the album smh and when you hear, you gonna be like "omg this is so good" "omg her best album wbk".

The more I read your posts, guys, the more I get why some of you are disappointed in this era (though I believe we all are to some degree).
To me, what matters the most, is good music, music I connect with and this era is serving me royally. I always loved piano and HM is my fave from her, so I don't mind the slower side of NFR and the piano ballads, even if some seem more simple (I was listening to Hope, this weekend, and it hit really hard because I could relate so much at the moment, to its softness, its lyrics). 
Visuals, photoshoots, magazine are really not that important to me, not where she is in her career (her videos had to be iconic when she began but now, she is established and she can afford a more basic era when it comes to visuals). True, she could give more info, especially as time flies by and we are in limbo, but are we so frustrated because we don't like what she is giving us? She did say, in concerts, that the album was a lot like Change, that she would want to publish her poetry book before the release, that she was doing pretty much zero promo for this one. Plus the Universal release in January said mid-year... 
But then again, it's Lana and everything she says is to be taken with a grain of salt, even the real infos she gives us.

I wish she was just a little more famous so we could have page six headlines like "Lana Del Rey paints Easter eggs in rabbit ears while her fans anxiously await her long anticpated & possibly delayed forthcoming album" to guilt her into doing something other than changing her instagram profile pic
