Hello everyone. I just got off the phone with Ed Millet, Lana's manager. He is very concerned about leaked material on LanaBoards. I've expressed this to you all many times, but please think before you post!! This song is so beautiful lyrically. Lana is talking to the fans, saying how she knows how emotional and depressed we can be at times, but we're young once and we should still find love and be happy. And in the last chorus, she replaces all the "you" with "I", making it more personal and showing that she's going through what we're going through. It really is such a beautiful song

Update: no worries I got it. Also there is a Pitchfork article about the release http://pitchfork.com/news/71155-lana-del-rey-returns-with-new-song-young-and-in-love/ It includes links to buy from Google play and Itunes. I live in the UK so I don't know if it will work in the US.

Really like it at first listen. I saw this somewhere and was like for sure it's fake, but it's real! It's enough to make you go crazy.

BTW- does it seem like anything Lana could do first is stolen by Gaga before Lana gets a chance to do it
(The Tony Bennett duet album should have been and would have been more appropriate for Lana,
and well, Gaga calling her album Joanne (and even signing autographs as Joanne) means that if Lana wanted to release a Lizzy
Grant record, people would say Lana was copying Gaga even though it is the other way around

It's as if the record company is leaking her.

I'm still in shock that this song was ever cut. My best guess is that she didn't want two songs with similar titles ("Sad Girl" / "Your Girl") on the same album, especially since they sound kind of similar as well. That being said, Sad Girl is my favourite from UV, but I definitely think Your Girl might have surpassed it had it been released. I'd been dying to hear this track ever since I was aware of it, and I'm so glad to have a taste of it. I hope it comes soon.
 
For the meanwhile though, last night at like 2am I attempted to make a "full" version to tide me over until the complete song is actually brought to us, and I thought I would share. Warning - it's not that great. I didn't have much to work with so it gets repetitive and also I had no idea what I was doing at all lol.. so any mistake I made, I wasn't exactly sure how to fix without messing more things up in the process. If anything, this could be an inspiration for a pro audio editor to make a better full version

I think were all just hoping so.... The fact that she has him on tour with her , is using his name in Ultraviolence .. and he has written 2 songs (that we know about) for her could indicate one of 2 theories FOR ME.
 
1 she needs him as a muse and is still holding onto her relationship with him and needs him to keep her good(clean)?....
OR
2 she is retelling  the tales of her unreleased songs for us  and jimmy is an important stories she wants to fully tell. and he is just on tour with her to boost his fame.?.
 
Im pretty much ok with either of these things being true, but the fact that she Premiered  Ultraviolence live  the way she did makes me feel like it was for him like it was unexpected. he could have been  hearing it for the first time just like everyone else, Then when she is speaking the Spanish lines in the song she looks so embarrassed and shy  like school girl Lizzy :3
