I agree; it's really disappointing that she chooses to work with the most cookie cutter producer It just feels like he embodies everything her music isn't meant to be IMO NFR is the best of the albums he's done with her but I feel like that may be due to the past still influencing. COCC, BB and DYKTUOB are lacklustre imo. Although they have highlights, I find it tedious to listen to any of them in their entirety whereas I can easily listen to her other albums without skips Maybe it's just me not adapting to her new sound idk. Is there anyone out there who actually prefers her later albums? I would love to see her work with Isa Summers or just anyone she hasn't worked with before I also think country is a bad choice on paper. I feel like it's gonna be a snooze That genre is one that's very nuanced and country artists spend their entire careers perfecting their sound in that genre She has every right to switch it up and try it but it feels like you need to be all-in to succeed in that genre so idk

Fuck private jets, BUT: I remember when someone was tracking Lana in this way (circa NFR tour) and it was scary how detailed the "publicly available" data is. Plane model, tail number, ground speed, number of passengers, take off/landing - everything. Anyone who lived anywhere near the airport could've easily found her plane (and therefore, her). I remember feeling worried about that. So I do understand that this might make Taylor uneasy but her fight should be with whichever govt agency is responsible for making the information public, not this one member of the public. With that said, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. I personally would not feel comfortable sharing such information if I found it because imo it's a safety risk.

Yes! This is exactly what I was sayin' earlier in this thread: how many editors, critics and fellow artists have to say that she's the best songwriter of our generation for her to be recognised as such by the Recording Academy?
