Harper's Bazaar - December/January 2024 Art Issue [Print]
Rorman Nockwell replied to ultrabanisters's topic in New Interviews
Actually she didn't say he was recent, the journalist did. Imagine dating Lana Del Rey and taking issue with her house For some reason I think it's Sean because I feel like she'd be shocked if he were shocked at her house, but it could also be Jack if it really is recent. It sounded like it's happened with more than one man though With that said, I did cringe at her implying that fans would like to come and chill at her place. Like, I get what she means and there's nothing wrong with it, but how long before some freak is like "oh okay she wants me to come over" (although that has happened anyway I guess)- 347 replies

She totally said "Ar-Kansas" instead of "Ark-an-saw" too They should just officially change the pronunciation because 1. the actual pronunciation makes no sense, and, 2. she said so Also do you think she LITERALLY threw her 14-carat gold Gemini jewellery in the rubbish because -

"My thoughts are shaped like men" took me OUT I was trying to guess her answer to that question before I read it and I expected she'd say some shit about how they metamorphose and are not of a fixed shape but I did not expect that -

I read this bit about 5 times and gave up I'm glad she doesn't have Twitter anymore because this journo went on and on (and on and on) about authenticity and being suspicious and I feel like that'll make her a bit mad when she reads it -

1 dead and 1,000+ hospitalized at Taylor Swift concert in Brazil
Rorman Nockwell replied to PARADIXO's topic in World News
I've always thought that GA at most shows (any artist) is just crazy I know some people feel that's it's part of the experience, but queuing for hours beforehand, only to get in and spend many more hours squashed up against a barrier and/or other people, is really dangerous and needs to be de-normalised It's not healthy or okay to go many hours without water and/or bathroom access. People refrain from drinking the former because of the latter. Not to mention the toxic behaviour it encourages with pushing and shoving, etc. There must be a better way to organise these shows. Maybe this shit was okay back in the 90s, but there were fewer people and shows weren't as big then The only silver lining is that if anyone can change it, it's Taylor. I'm not saying that it's her personal responsibility, just that this hopefully highlights these issues and maybe shows can be standardised somehow (no entry til 3(?) hours before, water must be provided, minimum space per person, etc) Very sad that this girl died but I hope something changes -
In what is a male-dominated landscape, it doesn't sit right with me that a man comes along and takes more than half of the royalties Lana's contribution to the art being created is more significant than his and should be reflected in the % His own art is very mediocre so it's clear who's bringing the bulk of the talent He doesn't deserve 51% It's probably more like 65% now You can @ me I will bite

Honestly it's just boring that he's the go-to as far as music producers go He is everywhere, always He mostly chooses to work with talented young women and then takes half the credit (he literally gets like 51% of the royalties on many of Lana's songs) He would be nobody if he relied solely on Bleachers and himself. We only know who he is cos he teams up with talent and claims half the glory HE'S annoying and I guess some of us can imagine how much more interesting a given project could be without his library of helicopter sound fx n shit But this has Lana AND Florence so I don't even care about him here

She would break her ankle or smthn but it'd be iconic af -
For some reason my brain was convinced Lana was singing "I've never seen some electronic men" @ 1:30 in SOTB (the more Lana one) and I personally think that that's what it should be This is my 6-monthly post in this thread See you in May

Grammy Awards 2024 - Lana Del Rey Nominated for 5 Awards
Rorman Nockwell replied to Elle's topic in Awards & Nominations
Why are you citing "it's not pop duo" as a reason for it not to win that category? They've already decided that it is pop duo by nominating it, so it makes no sense to argue that They're not gonna be like, "we're not letting Lana Del Rey win the pop duo category with the song we put in the pop duo category because it doesn't belong in the pop duo category." -
