I always took the "I get wild on you...I get wild and fucking crazy" as more of an aggression/fighting thing. Especially with the rest of the lyrics in the song, and the way that Lana typically uses the color blue to express sadness. I mean, she did say that she once threw something at a long-term boyfriend Lyrically I think that Nectar is one of her saddest songs ever. -
Santa Daddy comes into your house wearing only his Chromatica jockstrap and says he wanna peg you, but before he does it, he wants to make a Lana related wish come true - fat cock Santa grants you a Lana wish (feat. Nikki Lane) (Thanks @TrashMagiq)

I say we make "Santa Daddy comes into your house wearing only his Chromatica jockstrap and says he wanna peg you, but before he does it, he wants to make a Lana related wish come true - fat cock Santa grants you a Lana wish" our official Lanaboards slogan -
I actually put How To Disappear on my Christmas playlist because of the bells

In the spirit of Santa, I would wish she would release her Santa Baby cover. But in general, I would probably wish that she would give us an hour on live where we can ask her questions (all of us) that she can answer, preferably about her music from any and all eras, even the pre-BTD years. I love listening to Lana talk and give us her insight. Oh, and maybe I'd ask him to ask her to release some unleaked songs. Side note: someone needs to show her that q&a function of Instagram Live. -

When I first heard it, my first thought was that I felt like I was in a karaoke lounge in the 70s while on acid. I can see the darkness mixed with the dim, red lights and cigarette smoke when I listen to that song. Dealer does a great job of not only painting a picture, but having that picture be so different between each listener. -
MGK has said some super fucked up shit, and the fact that she's dating him when I'm sure she knows about it makes me feel weird. Also, she's just generally given me a super weird vibe for the past year or so. That one GQ article where her and MGK talked about their relationship gave me secondhand embarrassment for days

Since there's been a lot of discussion about an AKA re-release lately, I've come to the conclusion that I don't want it to re-release. However, I'd love to know more about the process of making the album. I don't know if it's something Lana would ever discuss. But I do know that lately she's been more open to talking about her past than usual. I just think that a little interview with her and David for one of the anniversaries of the album would be nice just to hear what they have to say on it. It's such a strong body of work for a debut and it'd be super interesting to hear from Lana now what it was like so many years later.

There's quite a few celebrities that I don't like regardless of their music. Some examples that come to mind are Camila Cabello, Marilyn Manson and Justin Bieber (although I honestly don't like any of these people's music, they were just the first ones to come to mind for me). I'm very in touch with people's personalities, and when a celebrity has one that I find to be off-putting, I can't say it makes me fan. Especially if that vibe comes from them being racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Also, I'm not really into current pop, but I honestly don't have an issue with most of the people in that genre even if it's not my thing. I say have fun, make your music and collect your coin Oh my god, and I know she's not a musician, but Megan Fox. I can't stand her anymore. Which makes me so sad because I absolutely loved her up until this year That retched excuse of a man she's dating is so much worse, though and he is a musician. He is literally everything that I could dislike in a person wrapped up into one.

The last time Emile and Mike worked together on the same track for Kanye was 2010 from what I can find, so I've decided to ride that delusion train until it either crashes and burns or makes it to it's destination -

Video Games and Cherry Blossom being done live one after the other on the swing would be amazing -
I couldn't care less about Lana's tracklists being cohesive. If I like the songs, that's all that really matters to me. I think that's part of why I love Lust for Life despite so many people hating it

Okay, so here are my thoughts on Black Bathing Suit and a bit on Wildflower Wildfire: Black Bathing Suit is a journey through Lana's feelings during spring-summer 2020, and maybe even earlier in the year. It's clear that certain lyrics are in relation to things like the public response to QFTC, the absolutely vile comments people were making about Lana online, and what I think is the most interesting aspect of it all: the backlash Lana got on Mothers Day in 2020 for not posting about her mother, but rather making a post about why it can be a hard day for her and others (that whole situation pissed me off, but we don't have time to unpack all of that). I never knew if Lana had seen the hate from that post since she never addressed it, but it's clear to me through this album that she did. She literally says in the second verse of WW "You say there's gaps to fill in, so here, here's the deal..." and then the lyric about her mother. It was like her saying "you really want to know what I've been through? here you go". It's something that's so heartbreaking to listen to, but I think that for Lana, it felt important to say. So more on BBS. Another lyric I want to highlight is the "your interest really made stacks out of it for me, so thanks for that", which I think is kind of sarcastic. Obviously NFR did fantastic in terms of sales and reception, so she's saying that the public's interest in the album really "made stacks" out of that album, but then we get the flippant "thanks for that" that we also get in Arcadia. It's not a genuine thank you. It's Lana being frustrated that despite people loving that album, they went right back to hating her just months after (I'm not getting into QFTC right now, I'm more so talking about the body shaming and general bullying that went on). And I think that the "you don't know me any better than they do" lyric is super interesting as well. There were a lot of assumptions being made about Lana around that time, so it's her saying "you don't know me any better than the rest of the public does, so don't act like you do". The whole song exudes this perfect mix of anger, vulnerability, confidence and a hint of sarcasm. She gives you that not only through her lyrics, but through her production and vocal delivery on the song. It's so smart and so creative. -

At first I thought the BBS lyric was "your inches really made stacks out of it for me" and I was like...who's inches? But I'll have to remember to come back in here and write a mini essay on that line and BBS in general because I have a lot of thoughts -
The only unreleased songs I'd ever want to be released (from now on lol) are ones that were entirely unfinished, so we'd get to hear them in an entirely different way as if they were new songs. Something like going from Methamphetamines to Old Money could be cool in relation to another old acapella demo.

I'm sorry, but I just cannot get into Dark Paradise, it's one of my least favorite Lana songs ever. I never have and most likely never will be able to. Something about it puts me off and I don't even know why. I can't get into the demos either. Also, Swan Song is incredible. It's personally my favorite song on Honeymoon. I'll never understand why that one is always so low in people's rankings
-
I'd love a The Good Life vibe on the next album. The production on that song is so simple, but so captivating
-
I put on my unreleased album and for some reason it's only playing acoustic demos from 2007-2009. I'm taking this a sign I don't care Also, I'm 100% down for some jazz influence on this album. Lana + horns = heaven on earth
-
When they remake Daytona Meth using the best strings Emile can produce and a powerful MIke beat Plus some electric guitars
-
When I saw Emile's post, the first thing I thought about was how hyped you were gonna be I'm really hoping they're both working with Lana for LDR9, I actually might faint if they are
-
Listen, I love Blue Banisters and it's a top three Lana album for me, but if there's even a chance of a Lana album with Emile strings and Mike beats...I'm using all the manifestation I have on that
-
Literally why else would Emile and Mike be working together if it's not for Lana? The only other artist they've both worked with from what I can tell is Kid Cudi, but that wasn't on the same song. There's one song I'm finding that they did both have credits on, but it's a Kanye song from 2010
