  1. The covershot would be much more beautiful if it wasn't so overedited ...,
  2. The acting in Tropico isn't more than medicore and definitly less than what you'd expect from a "short film".
  3. You try to argue about how this is not supposed to be glamourising and then this happens.
  4. Yep, some parts were taken from the "No Reflection" video by Manson and the one with the blurred woman in a uniform is also very Manson-esque, not sure if it's from Mobscene or something, but definitly could be from a video by him.
  5. Funny how depicting something and glamourising it is considered the same by some persons. Does this mean "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" is also doing this? I can understand that some things Lana does are controversial. her statement on feminism. The Ultraviolence lines. But this video isn't glamourising anything at all, in contrast, the horror of the victim is the most convincing display of emotion Lana ever did in a video. It is not supposed to be fun and cool and it's not looking like this. It looks painful and terrible. She screams, she tries to fight back, she's crying. There is nothing sexy about it. So I don't get where the assumption of the glorification comes from. And the slowmow-parts .. they are ALL OVER THE VIDEO,also during the "No Reflection" musicvideo parts, so they were not intentionally designed for the rape scene. And apart from this we don't even know the complete clip.
  6. So since the video is a year old it's unlikely we'll ever get the full thing Shame. Manson has a new album coming next year tho ... So since the video is a year old it's unlikely we'll ever get the full thing Shame. Manson has a new album coming next year tho ...
  7. None, since the good stuff rarely wins something. Best Vocal Pop Album is the only one I could imagine.
  8. Blue Jeans (Woodkid video), Carmen, Gods & Monsters and Shades of Cool.
  9. Really? I always thought ROYP was Bond-like but was it actually supposed to be a Bond song?
  10. Since when has Duffy sung a Bond Theme? "You know my name" was actually very cool. But yeah, I just can't imagine Smith doing a cool bondsong...
  11. So two songs? "I can Fly" with Rick Nowels and "Big Eyes" with Dan Heath? *_*
  12. I need Weeds in my life .. NOW.
  13. Perfect .. you just forgot pretty drugs big lies blue mascara divine sippin cola big eyes
  14. If I'm not wrong, "Young & Beautiful" and "Once Upon A Dream" both premiered like .. a month before the actual movie was released. So maybe we'll even get "Big Eyes" (if that's really the song's name) this very month
  15. Marina And The Diamonds - Froot Marilyn Manson - The Pale Emperor Soley - [whatever her 2015 album may be called]
  16. I don't know enough about Ellie and Marina. It's indeed something quite personal, but it could be easily about the guy aswell. Someone she liked, a male friend of her, who fell for a b*tch.
  17. Watch it being West Coast No, I am really "frekin excited" but I just don't want to be .. chances are that a) it's a song from UV&paradise/BtD which is just used for the soundtrack v) it's not even Lana and someone mistook another singer for her c) it's not a complete song ala Y&B but just something like OUAD, which sounds nice but is nothing you really listen to. But yeah, secretly I pray to John that it's a full song with G&M vibes (cause, you know, Tim Burton and stuff)
  18. Is there any place where I still can read the "leaked" lyrics from the FROOT record, since they have been taken down again? Edit: Nvm, found them on Marinaboards .. Wow, the lyrics are all very nice. Immortal and Savages jhave wonderful lyrics. I'm a Ruin reads like it could be a great song, the sonical (and lyrical) Froot-brother of Homewrecker. I can already hear these "Yeah, uh huh, ooh, I’m a ruin" parts in my head. Gold, Blue, Better Than That and Solitaire however, appeal to me the most. Don't really know why, but I like the lyrics and how they rhyme, even tho, like i already said, there are other great lyrical pieces on "Froot". I'm excited to actually hear the record.
  19. MPG: The way her voice goes into a lower register during "I want" and then rises up into the high notes of "MONEY POWER AND GLORYYYYYYYYYHY" just gets me everytime.
