On the one hand it's super annoying that most journalists are just after writing bad articles about her. Of course journalism is supposed to be critic ... but lately it has reached a pathetic level. Either way they just re-brabble the usual praising stuff and the same already-known anecdotes or they do anything to portray her as a person, which is not supposed to be taken serious. But on the other hand, Lana annoys the shit out of me, with her "making things up", saying plainly stupif stuff and only making wolly statements. The photoshoot is quite boring and some of the pics are unflattering. No interesting poses, lights or makeup. but funny how everyone bitches about the cover, but noone says something about this pic, which is definitly worse in my opinion. Her facial expression, the camera angle and the light on her skin is so .. meeeeeh.

Of course it's uncomfortable, would be more alarming if it wouldn't. She did NOTHING to glorify rape, they reanacted it, that doesn't mean you approve of it. The thing I don't like at some of the photos is, that they can't decide if they want to be high-polish-erotic pictures ala GQ magazine or low-budget hotel room pics ala Hit magazine. It's the worst with those blanket-pics ... They should have either way have an interesting light on it and better camera angles or at least editet the pics to look more interesting. The only ones I really like are just presented as LQ prewiev versions -,-

Yep, some parts were taken from the "No Reflection" video by Manson and the one with the blurred woman in a uniform is also very Manson-esque, not sure if it's from Mobscene or something, but definitly could be from a video by him.

Funny how depicting something and glamourising it is considered the same by some persons. Does this mean "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" is also doing this? I can understand that some things Lana does are controversial. her statement on feminism. The Ultraviolence lines. But this video isn't glamourising anything at all, in contrast, the horror of the victim is the most convincing display of emotion Lana ever did in a video. It is not supposed to be fun and cool and it's not looking like this. It looks painful and terrible. She screams, she tries to fight back, she's crying. There is nothing sexy about it. So I don't get where the assumption of the glorification comes from. And the slowmow-parts .. they are ALL OVER THE VIDEO,also during the "No Reflection" musicvideo parts, so they were not intentionally designed for the rape scene. And apart from this we don't even know the complete clip.
