the high road chorus is a slay but her rapping needs to go

night shift - lucy dacus

it's actually super cohesive and the lyrics are consistently great, but there's a lack of hooks and varied instrumentation that hinders this album. highlights: clementine, you should be sad, 3 am, 929
-
not a huge halsey fan but nightmare and you should be sad are sooooo good, what other songs by her do you recommend?
-
very same-y for the most part, i only saved a sweeter place

Norman Fucking Rockwell - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
VeniceBiatch replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
the Grammy's are so weird... some years they play it safe and give it to superstars like Bruno Mars or Taylor Swift, then other years they give it to indie artists Arcade Fire or Beck. if they want to play it safe, they'll give it to Billie or maybe Ariana if they want to take a risk, maybe Lana has a chance but they'll probably be getting backlash -
i miss her vocals on TFJ they were so emotive and raw the second verse of I Am not A Robot is ART
-
it's delicious Visions > Miss Anthropocene > Art Angels > Halfaxa > Geidi Primes
-
is it mastered? and is delete forever confirmed as black swan blues omg
-
i didn't like country until i heard Golden Hour
-
i literally have not listened to it since september but it's not as bad as we made it out to be, it's just not as good as cry baby
-
sometimes i miss her vocals from BTD and Paradise
-
it's a great song but I wouldn't say its her best with Cruel World, West Coast, Terrence Loves You, Video Games, Venice Bitch, The Greatest in her discography
-
ok i've seen the light and Black Swan Blues is the best, i love hearing her lower register
-
my name is dark aka best song on the album
