Most of all, it raises a few questions about where her head is at right now. 
 
She's putting on this big Insta baddie wannabe act and everyone's all, "leave her alone, she's HAPPY!" but this video was pretty fucking reckless. Like ... her eyes are barely on the road, at some points they're even closed, no seat belt, one hand on the wheel, etc ... Jesus. 
 
Does a happy and clean person  in a good headspace do this type of thing? I don't know if they do. It demonstrates a complete disregard for her own well-being and that of others. To me, she's either not doing as wonderfully as she'd have us believe, and/or her ego has gotten so large that she thinks she can't die in a car crash like any other mere mortal. 
 
You know, and I don't think she flipped the video for fun. I think she thought she could fool everyone into not noticing that she was driving by doing so. Which is also problematic. 
 
I'm so here for her crazy, but not at the expense of her well-being and that of others.

Twigs scrapped her stuff from 2016. The single from this year is her starting fresh, and she's performed about 4-5 songs from the upcoming album during a recent tour. Her absence from 2016-2019 was largely due to medical issues, as well as extensive training, which she communicated to her fans about.

think we need to look at the definition of 'trauma' here. i think it's being used too loosely. sadness, heartache, fear and disappointment are universal, 'trauma' is not necessarily. trauma is associated with sustained abuse and witnessing certain things that often create PTSD, these things can be life threatening. 
 
i agree artists take things as inspiration, but what she's carved out for herself is a pretty consistent 'persona' that undoubtedly creates romance around things that relate to trauma, not just sadness, heartache, fear and disappointment
 
understandably people who suffer everyday or even struggle to live due to trauma will feel resentful if this has just been an accessory to her. there's a fundamental difference between writing about things and creating a character embodying these things that no one is sure is genuine
 
one example, as i said previously... is her making that unreleased video with marilyn manson that enacts her being raped
 
obviously no one knows, no one can truly say what's real and isn't and this is what is mysterious about her but i totally get people's deep resentment if this is all just an image. it depends what you've personally experienced

plenty of artists throughout history and before draw from their own experiences to share insight on life from their particular perspective. i know Lana herself has said she writes about her own experiences and stuff like that, so idk how much of her lyrical content is just totally made up.  dabbling in various aesthetics to share your unique perspective i feel is different than "artifice." so the question does really become what everyone was asking when BTD came out - is she fake or what? the world may never know.  what a beautiful full circle full moon moment or maybe im jus trippin from lack of hydration in this desert that is the NFR era

I'm sorry, I'm probably just being too sensitive, but it infuriates me. This is how I feel and I can't help it. I understand what you're saying, it might not be a healthy coping mechanism but I'm definitely not in a position to judge, considering my own unhealthy coping mechanisms. We don't all deal with trauma the same way. But the thought of someone NOT having any of that trauma and NOT having suffered through any of these situations, appropriating all that pain to create a ~ tRaGiC & bEaUtiFuL~  damsel in distress persona to tug at people's heartstrings and/or sell albums makes me sick to my stomach. Or just thinking it's "cool", like what the actual fuck
