Honestly? I was kind of disheartened by her comments on feminism. To me, part of being a good person is caring about other people even if you don’t know them, and that includes her fellow women. I see this as a step forward, pretending to care about the plight of others is still better than being proud of not giving a damn.
 
Also, as a quick aside, Change doesn’t strike me as political. GBA isn’t a bad song and WTWWAWWKD delivers a message about ignoring war and suffering and the political climate and just going on about your pleasure and keeping on to hope, it’s strictly hedonistic and isn’t in anyway PC

this. i'd like to point out 'PC' is a term largely used to undermine and invalidate people's care about others' justice and equality as if it's new, trendy and always disingenuous because it's "unnatural". there's nothing 'politically correct' about not being/not wanting to be a shit person

I think the Lana del rey persona was inspired by Marilyn, it wasn't a persona at first it was like the person Lizzy wanted to become. Later she learned that that comes with the risk of ending up like her: miserable, alone and dead. I think Lizzy with her aesthetic as may jailer was her truest form and I am glad that she has come back to that. Specially because sirens is one of my fave albums of all time, while the music is not very comercial and sparkly it really is very haunting and special.

I love the latest shoot. I love the looks, I love the aesthetic, I love everything about it tbh. I don’t get how a lot of people don’t like it.

I do find it funny how when a local brings up the fact that she comes from a rich family, a fans immediate reply is "she used to live in a trailer park". And? She still comes from money and unlike most people who grow up in poverty, she'll always have that safety net. The safety net being her father's money.
 
I'm not saying Lana has never faced hardships with money, but she has that privilege of coming from wealth which not a lot of people have. She could afford to skip a months rent, let's be honest.

I don't know if ya'll know about this, but someone on Twitter recorded someone pointing a gun at Madison Beer during one of her performances pretty recently. These things can happen so fast and escelate quickly. No one here is overreacting. Better safe than sorry.

Yes because record labels are a business and will do whatever makes the most money. They don’t care about music quality that much if it sells a lot.
