  1. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/06/palestinians-will-not-be-allowed-to-return-to-homes-in-northern-gaza-says-idf SHOCKING!!! TRULY SHOCKING!!! no one could have ever predicted this
  2. The nonsense I heard from Trump supporters at work today. And I live in a very Democratic area. I give up. I actively hope for the demise of this country. I heard it all. It's a disgrace Kamala didn't concede last night (I'm sorry, but Trump 2020, are you serious?). We're all Americans and should be unified and loving to everyone (I'm sorry, was Trump literally not weeks ago calling Democrats the evil within this country?). I literally heard one guy say that he bets Putin is really upset because Putin wanted Kamala bc he could push her around but Trump will stand up to him. This country is irredeemably gone people
  3. Looks like abortion rights passed in Arizona, Montana and Missouri but failed in Nebraska and South Dakota (and Florida bc of their stupid 60% requirement)
  4. The Republican Party took their masks full off, very directly said everything they want. And the people of this country said Yes, please! This is who this country fundamentally is. This is what this country wants It sucks for all the good people who will be caught in the crosshairs but like Lana says... not everyone's nature is golden and green and, and you can't fight what's in your nature This is the nature of this country
  5. Wait actually what I said doesn't make much sense. You can't be on hospice after you died. I cannot even think straight anymore
  6. The country already died in 2016. 2016-2024 was just a very long time on hospice
  7. Good God we might be looking at the Senate being 56 Republicans
  8. it probably won't be long until they ban mifepristone to de facto ban most abortions nationwide
  9. Well my town voted 67% for Kamala so at least I have that
  10. Well at least Missouri appears to have voted to legalize abortion
  11. The fact that Elon Musk is gonna be de facto behind the scenes President...
  12. Be prepared: The country in January: The stock market will be the same as now. Inflation will be same. Gas prices the same. Unemployment rate the same. Job numbers just as good as now. But... Half the country: "omg the economy is doing SOOOO WELL NOW!!!!! THANK YOU TRUMP YOU SAVED AMERICA"
  13. Omg I thought about this cover earlier and wanted to listen to it, but then convinced myself I was just misremembering the song and thought I was just thinking of Happiest Girl in the USA
  14. It's so infuriating. The post-pandemic inflation happened across the entire world
  15. There's no way Harris wins Nevada with how badly she has completely collapsed among Hispanic voters. I won't even be surprised to see Trump get over 40% in California at this point
  16. the first woman to be president, if this country ever gets there, will be a Republican Unfortunately I don't see Democrats running a woman as their candidate again for a long time
  17. It's over. She lost. She lost big time Someone from Norway please marry me
  18. Wow even McCormick is leading in the PA senate race now This country is sick
  19. NYT now forecasts Trump will win PA, MI, and WI I already knew this country was ugly. But it turns out it's way, way uglier than I could have ever possibly imagined
  20. It's over guys. Trump is doing better than 2020 virtually everywhere. North Carolina was just called for Trump. Democrats have completely collapsed with Hispanics all over that I fear Trump may even win the popular vote once we starting seeing votes out of California. This country is completely, utterly morally bankrupt
  21. I've seen enough for now. I'd love to be wrong but I think we're looking at a Trump win. I'm closing up shop and moving on to other things for now
  22. It needs 60% of the vote to pass. The the conservative panhandle hasn't reported yet because they're in a different time zone and are still voting. Once they start reporting, that 58% is going to go down significantly. There's no way they'll get over 60% with what's left to report
  23. I don't think the abortion referendum in Florida will pass. It's at 59% but most of the big counties have reported most of their vote already and tons of the rural areas and panhandle have reported nothing. That 59% will only go down
