Norman Fucking Rockwell - Pre-Release Thread
Beauty King replied to Elle's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
Usually covers with explicit material (i.e. nudity, violence, profanity) have stickers on the jewel case that cover up the "offensive" parts. It's possible she could make the cover textless, too. -

Only if Interscope stops submitting her in the pop categories, which they probably won't. -

She has a really good relationship with Interscope. It would take a lot for her to get dropped. -

We don't have any tangible evidence that it exists. It was claimed that she mentioned the song at or after her show in San Diego, but there's no recording to support that. -
APRA does some weird things where samples and live-only songs get registered in the same way studio songs are. That's why people are skeptical that it's actually what it's purported to be.

She announced "Bartender" at the Grammys during an interview with Pitchfork on the red carpet. "Sylvia" was rumored to have been mentioned by Lana to a fan after some concert, but has never specifically been confirmed, due to a lack of video evidence. "Mary (Scared of Me)" is the rumored title of the third song. Some have claimed that it's a fake title, made up by some insider to try to fool people. "Don't Stop" and "Queen of Hearts" were made during a single studio session Lana did with Mike Will Made It in 2013. They're not new.

Bunch of other recent registrations with her as a writer, though as you'll remember from last time, most of these are probably for other people. Most of this batch was registered with the Kiiara song she co-wrote, "Gloe". 100,000 Fires Amazing Dance Pon It Delete My Number Kisses From Broadmoor Madness Mr. Badman New Creep

They weren't. People had Hollywood, Starry Eyed and JFK for months before Black Beauty and AFFA were put up on Rick's database.

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Beauty King replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
That song is unreleased. The label isn't going to license it to you for publishing under any circumstances. -
Ugh, those eight titles are apparently mainly not Cruel Youth stuff. She commented on a fan account on Instagram saying that they were mostly for other projects. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bl82sKVheQw/?taken-by=teddysinclairupdates

It wouldn't be an EP if she added even one more track. Albums are defined by iTunes as 9 or more tracks, while EPs are 4 to 8 tracks. She's said very specifically that this is an EP.

Allie does have at least one song on that soundtrack. You can hear a snippet of it during the trailer around the 1 minute mark. https://youtu.be/PDj3756DlQs?t=61

I Want It Now had a demo that leaked with Riot in My Heart. It's not very different from the version that got released (2:03 in length, compared to the 2:32 of the final version), but if you're a completionist, that would be one thing to be aware of. The only leaked unreleased tracks under Cruel Youth are the demo versions of Florida Blues and Alexis Texas from the leaked "Cowboys & Angels EP". The other tracks from that leak were identical to the +30mg versions.

The song she co-wrote for Miles Kane's album. She doesn't have a vocal feature on it, just a writing credit.

Think I just found out most of the tracklist for their next release. I was looking through the GEMA database and found eight recently registered titles listed under the publishing entity that Teddy and Willy set up for Cruel Youth releases. If you want to see for yourself, you can find the results by selecting "title" "contains" "A" and "writer/publisher" "contains" "DISGRACE SONGS". The reason I'm pretty sure that these are for their next album is that one of the titles was visible in this Instagram post. Anyway, here's the whole list: Childish Heartbreak On Pause It Ain't Right Smash Unholy Very Beige Vultures White Dior

Last thing we got was "My Way", released under The Powder Room on February 9th.
-
No. Just another account of guesses with no actual insider knowledge.

The Powder Room is going to continue concurrently with Cruel Youth. It's basically just a dumping ground for all the songs she likes and wants to release that don't really fit the Cruel Youth brand. As far as "Violet Roses" goes, that one wasn't registered as one of The Powder Room tracks, as far as I am aware. It was listed without an artist attached and was always intended for what eventually became Cruel Youth, but the name of the band didn't exist when the song was registered. "Violet Roses" was also registered at the same time as a track called "Heaven", which is not the same as the Natalia Kills/Natalia Cappuccini song with the same title. Both were co-written and presumably produced by Chris Braide.
