It's a demo. She did this version before she finished the Official from the Charli album. It has different vocals too.

I'd give my right hand to hear two versions: the old version as it was intended and the 2020 reworked/rerecorded one...well a girl can dream,right?

The underproduced last chorus is so true and it really does diminish what the song could have been. Not to mention the principal doesn't even have a last chorus. In the cinema when the principal ended, multiple people where like "what???" out loud. Lol.
 
Charli gives so much with fan interaction, but I know Melanie would never do that because she's a perfectionist and will always take total control over her work, no suggestions whatsoever, unless, like you said about the production, it's from the producer 
 
And yes it absolutely is one of the best albums of 2019. I've revisited it the more than I've revisited NFR. But the potential in each song just kinda dissappeared halfway through each. She might have thought the production was her best because it sounded clean (except Nurses office, let's not go there) but SO clean that it was empty.
