you guys really think we'll get a homemade video?

i actually love it her smile says it all the composition and colors are eh and the background is lackluster but she's GLOWING idk it's kind of weird and feels like a parody or mashup of the honeymoon and born to die covers but i think it's super endearing and lovely

i genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, think that pinup galore is one of the best songs ever created it's absolute breathtaking perfection
-
re-watching the album trailer, i really can't imagine the track in the background NOT being used as an interlude on the album or being used in her live shows just a thought
-
i feel like her newer songs are extremely cookie cutter ("love" anyone?) that's why i love her earlier stuff with more erratic chord progressions and less general structure that's what makes them so magical

I'd say that "we're gonna party like it's 1949" from the song "1949" is a direct prince "1999" reference

i was listening to guns and roses the other night and i think it's her best released song. i know a lot of people argue that it's repetitive (which it is), but i think that's such a minor flaw of the song.. the beat is unique and fucking sexy. her voice is absolutely angelic on it. the lyrics are lovely (albeit repetitive), the production and instrumentation are outright transcendent. it paints such a picture in my mind when i hear it. it's so full and rich and has an old rock n roll vibe while still having that smooth ultraviolence finish we all love.

very very hard but pin up galore vs every man gets his wish

- the paradise cover is atrocious - however, paradise was, artistically, one of the best things she's ever done. even though it's nowhere near my favorite, the production and atmosphere of the album is absolutely electric - body electric could be one of her best songs, but the album version was mixed so badly both the orchestral and rock live versions are incredible - love is terrible and has me doubtful about ldr5

Must we be having this discussion? It's Pin Up Galore
