I'm hoping for a multi album drop tbh. From a business standpoint it just makes sense if she released Speak Now, 1989, and Red very quickly; or even simultaneously. It won't be unexpected if the next re-record does not match Fearless TV's impressive numbers...and if each re-record after that also declines in sales, it could be bad for her brand prestige. Whereas if she purposefully cannibalizes her sales by releasing 3 at once, she has a cover/reason for the numbers not matching Fearless.

I'm definitely gonna be a tiny bit embarrassed when that artwork shows up on our family room TV when I'm streaming it thru the stereo but that's half the fun tbh!

I hope this doesnt happen tho. It really effected how much I connected to COTCC; because for me it was always a "fall album", so it's release in late-winter kinda made me feel like it was out of place and I felt that sonically and lyrically. I'm still waiting to listen to COTCC "as it was intended" as the summer fades away. I don't want that to happen to BB/RCS (feeling like I missed out on hearing the record in the season it was intended) just bc she/her team/her label couldn't get their shit together. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive to that kind of thing, but I literally change my listening habits dramatically based on season. I havent been able to listen to a single Evermore song with full enjoyment (e.g.) since the weather got warmer.

Her music videos also seem to be less hyped. I remember "When the Party's Over"'s video was EVERYWHERE in 2018/2019 (currently has 700m views) and Bad Guy broke 1 Billion within a year. These new ones still haven't picked up that traction. And honestly, none of the new songs have even touched "When the Party's Over" for me

The way I see it is (sticking to the abortion example), I can be friends with someone who’s abortion rights view differ from mine, because there’s absolutely no reason for 2 private citizens to engage in heated debate about political topics. If I have a friend who I can have stimulating conversation with on art, music, philosophy, film, etc; why bring up an issue that 50% of the population is divided on? I’m likely in the minority, but I think such issues should exist only in voting booths, polling stations, and petitions—not in conversations between friends. I think that having conviction in one’s beliefs is great, but if that’s all someone can discuss in social situations, they will never be at peace.
