Jack's security seems really tight but we did get some Drew stuff (OB title track and Fingertips snippets when they were illegally sold only alongside an Arcadia demo). And yeah all the "new" Rick releases were actually old so I wonder why she's not going back to him for a couple of tracks at least. She's still friends with him so maybe it's a scheduling issue or maybe his style doesn't resonate with her anymore I get that she maybe wanted to switch it up a bit but she doesn't seem to mind doing a 4th album with Jack

Unless something unexpected happens I think all the Lana albums in the near future are going to be similar to OB as in 50% Jack 30% random new collaborators she meets along the way and 20% old producers like Zach or Drew. Even though it could be hit or miss I wish we got another UV situation where she does the whole record with somebody new

I know it's Lana but I wonder if we're getting some kind of Grammy campaign Like I don't know... a recorded live performance or something. She did way more promo than the two previous album cycles but I still wanted a bit more for the sake of content

This is her most nominated album so far right? She's for sure getting at least the alternative categories and CN has a chance too. SOTY and AOTY are really competitive but both A&W and the album got a lot of praise so I can see her getting some there too. It would be soooo iconic to go from 0 grammy to 5 in a single night Lana sweep incoming

I won't judge based on like 5 seconds but Is Lana's part sampled from an interview or something? It sounds familiar

I agree 100% with this cause at the end of the day it's Lana's vision being the driving force but I have to say, in the piano department Rick's melodies are way stronger than Jack's (but he shines in other areas of course)

Does Jack have standard single releases or could this be dropping any random Tuesday for example? I think it's going to be properly announced very close to the release date

I wonder if we're getting this sooner than we think since there's no updates on the unreleased collection or even another standalone unreleased song I still think we're getting a new song this spring I wouldn't mind waiting a bit more for LDR10 if we get the outtakes album or the covers in between but you never know with Lana and a new single barely one year after the previous album would match her releasing schedule

I don't know how unpopular this is cause I've seen mixed reactions all over the internet but I don't like the new tour at all I love her looks, vocals are amazing and she's so happy so I'm happy for her but all the dancers doing random shit on stage takes me out of it She said it helps her confidence so at the end of the day I'm glad for her but I really miss the earlier tours when it was just her doing her random mini dances, the sexy drops and the walks around the stage without any planning. I guess it made every single show a bit more special cause you didn't know what to expect from her and now it's all more choreographed and such I get why some people would prefer this type of show tho

Oh this is gold The melody of the start of the verses is so pretty and overall is a really nice and calming song Lana's cadence plus the piano is giving Disney similar to that part of Sweet

Knowing her she probably started halfway through the Ocean sessions but I wonder if she made the distinction back then or if she's using some outtakes as the starting point/concept. Zodiac seems similar in essence (experimental and chaotic) but sonically different even though it's not really the Americana sound she teased so who knows

Yeah she's definitely getting something this year if she gets nominated. Less competitive categories + a very acclaimed album + she's more popular than ever (even if it's not supposed to be like that, popularity is still important in these awards).

NFR lost and we still got 2 Jack albums afterwards tho... I think it's more about Lana being comfortable with him as the main producer of her records. At least it looks like she mixes in some other producers now

Isn't this similar to when they first announced the page? It didn't do anything at first but then we had to reenter our email again to get the confirmation... but this was months ago and nothing happened I'm not sure if the presave on Spotify thing was there tho... Regardless of that I still think something is coming... stuff similar to SYTH was heavily hinted a couple of times by insiders and we know it usually takes months from teasers to the actual thing coming out (and it's been months already)

The only time she accurately described her upcoming album (in sound) was for Chemtrails so I never know what to expect from her regardless of her genre descriptions

I love that she has like mini eras with her dresses and hairstyles throughout the tour. The fake big hair bob was fun and the black witchy dress is amazing

Oh god she looked amazing my only tiny complaint is that I don't like what they did to the front of her hair but overall the look is stunning

Probably both. She said recently she loves Marilyn as a person not only as an icon and old movie star so I guess it's the aesthetic but also everything surrounding that era and all the different lives those artists had.

I feel like if she was mainly focusing on the country side of americana she would have said it more clearly (even though she's not the best at describing her records ) so I think it's going to be more folk-ish and blues-y. Something in the vein of A&W (the first part) would be really nice
