I love that we loved the Ocean Blvd era cause coming from the 2021 sisters anything would have done but it was also understandable that they were kinda bare in promo (the pandemic plus all the 2020 controversies ) I feel like she was testing the waters with Ocean cause she looked progressively more excited about it the more she was doing so I'm sure the next record will have at least NFR-level aditional content (minus the delays God help us ). I would have loved another MV but other than that I'm happy enough with what we got (specially the music per se). She has said multiple times (as recently as a couple of days ago) how happy she was now in her life and in her craft so I'm really excited about the next chapter

I think LDRVillage never knew anything about its real meaning and were just like "well since you like it and Lana wore it I guess we can turn it into merch" Everything about DNC was so suspicious but I think it will remain a mystery

This made me realize Ocean Blvd is her first cover where she's not outside (other than AKA) It really was the introspective record But yeah an album cover where she's outside in the night time with streetlights would be sweet (or even in a highway like the SS MV video ending

Maybe she followed the VMAs cause she won and they told her to film a cute little acceptance video for the show... Or maybe she just noticed the nominations I know Ben and Jon (and even the director) posted about it but she probably didn't even pay attention to it

She couldn't care less about charts and the Ocean Blvd singles would have charted if she released them on a Friday. But it makes no sense to care about charts as a Lana fan anyway

I'm so conflicted with what I want Lana to do next on LDRX, specially with Ocean as the starting reference since it had so many different elements I love the experimental side of Ocean Blvd, even the upbeat songs were crazy (Peppers is a mess of sounds in a good way) and I'd love to hear Zodiac (and other "chaotic" songs like that) on the next record but I also love the crystal clear vocals and "tidy" production of her earlier work and the last album piano samples and orchestral tracks I wonder if we're getting a mix of all that in the next album(s) too since it seems what's most natural for Lana lately, just write and produce around the mood of the song instead of having a whole album in mind (while still having somewhat cohesive records at least thematically)

I hope she wins but I find fan voted awards kinda meh... it's just about who has the bigger fanbase and the least amount of competition in the category At least she has a nomination in a "professional" category too... but it's still the VMAs so whatever But maybe if she wins she'll record a cute little video and she was a bit disappointed with the low engagement of the MV so I guess winning would be nice now that I think about it

With how much she's in the studio (even between tour dates) we'll have at least a single by spring Other than HM -> Love taking a bit longer, we only have had to wait around a year from album to next record's first song

I don't think we're getting a full country album at this point if we didn't get one right after Chemtrails or BB... plus we know she's working with Jack again and she would get a different producer for that kind of sound (those two NFR era tracks weren't even full on country and were made just for fun)

Sometimes they give the awards to whoever shows up so let's hope they don't do that this year (cause I doubt Lana is attending

I don't think we're ever getting a full upbeat (or at least) midtempo album from Lana, even BTD was on the slower side even if it's her most "poppy" album. I think her albums will always have her usual variety range from ballads to "bops" (even Chemtrails and BB had their fun moments). But I have to say if she goes upbeat I hope is more FIILY drums upbeat and less synth-autotune like Cinnamon/TJF/Fishtail I like those songs but they always leave me wanting a bit more in a way

I guess the US leg will be the last one of the tour. I think she booked as many Europe dates as she could those days when she had a show almost every day cause she's not coming back for now

Now that the tour is mostly over (for now) she has to announce something with it... she was even promoting it with giant QR codes in her Mexico shows What's funny tho is that they were posting so much about this website but she came back to HM on IG and it's been open ever since so... if it wasn't for the qrs yesterday I'd think she abandoned the idea already
