I'd gladly take anything she release and it's probably for the festivals season anyway so

I was afraid of a sped up release when I saw the runtime but isn't the "honeymoon" version 3 and a half minutes too?

The setlist thing makes so much sense since it's popular even among casual listeners it would be a nice addition... But she has to release Serial Killer too

I won't ever complain for "new" Lana but I wonder why now Maybe she recorded a new version that she prefers now cause I'm sure her label begged her to release it when it was really really popular (still is I think) but she couldn't be bothered If she releases it I hope it has the drums on the chorus cause I love that part (unless I just made that up cause I'm so lost with all those versions

Those years between BTD and UV were wild. I assume there's also a lot of stuff post HM to pre NFR since she tried so many sounds during those periods After Norman it looks like she had a better/clearer vision about what sound she wanted cause other than changing tracklists around everything seems more streamlined... Until we discover she made a pop album in 2020 or something

Soooo... is the "new" VB really the demo? I know Jack said there was a shorter beat driven version but I expected something more rockish or surfy but not trap I can't believe they were using those beats on the early NFR version specially since Hope was the first song they made together and they seemed to have a really clear vision about the record I think the "back to the garden" line wasn't used on the OG and I doubt she rerecorded it so at least some stems were from an early version tho

I KNEW when those songs leaked that this thread would fill with comments about how much better they are than the new record Well they already leaked go listen to those then

A "pink motel" and pink flamingos ????? It has to be Lana (not activating delulu mode this time tho... cause it looks too colorful for this album ) We stopped getting post-album MVs with LFL so it's so funny that this time it's the opposite. It would be a great way to keep the "era" alive a bit longer since she always forgets about her records the minute they come out and moves on but this time we're getting at least one (probably the only one ) MV after the album

Never in a million years I would think I'd be obsessed with Jack singing on a Lana song There's something about his nonsensical part that's so addictive. Margaret is such a great song

Everything about Candy Necklace is so confusing The story behind it, the lyrics and now this teaser Love it tho

That little teaser made me so excited But why did she call it a visualizer... it's not even the song it should be teaser or trailer

This might be the best review so far and not only cause it's really positive but because they really understood the intention behind this album. I love how they picked up the little details on the songs instead of just writing short sentences about each track. Really nice

Absolutely in love with the whole song but I need an extended Taco Truck version on LDR10 Imagine if she started sampling and expanding a song from a previous album on each subsequent record

Really curious about the MV cause Rich's videos from LFL and NFR were so different (apart from the cosmic elements)

I'm 99% sure we're getting it with the album tomorrow

I guess that if she had enough time to add another song she could have also made some small changes here and there Maybe she sent some of the songs again with small tweaks with Candy Necklace since she had to master that one separately anyway. What's weird it's that the other song didn't leak so I guess people are already hoarding the first Ocean Blvd outtake

I'm usually not very fond of collabs on Lana's albums but this time I'm so happy about all of them (yes even Jack )

I think she'll embrace the duality of this record from now on But to be fair Lana is so unpredictable we could be getting a country record next and I wouldn't be surprised

Please that was 11 years ago and she never went back to that sound why are you still here?
