After listening to this EP few times, I actually like it, it's definitely growing on me with every play. 

The Bakery MV is exactly what Cake and Gingerbread Man deserved

And also I don't think her doing this ''making the title and then the song'' this is limiting her, I think it's always been creative how she writes down a ton of song titles, and sees which one fits what type of song she wants to make, and then makes it. She used this for Cry Baby and K-12 and probably After School tbh

I thought her dancing was incredible, especially in those heels. Couldn't take my eyes off her! Of the songs, Numbers is my fave.

Honestly we can say whatever about the music, but that woman knows how to put out a VISUAL. Whew

Can I just say that I'm loving how everyone switched on her in this thread, that post that was saying ''all her new music kinda has something weird about it... it all kinda sounds similar, boring ass choruses, weird themes, not enough new vocals/production on the last choruses'' that got like around 10 likes just 5 pages ago, the same people who were liking that post are praising After School now

I would be here for that, I imagine it would have a similar sound to Test Me and Teacher's Pet

I love Brain & Heart so much omg. Some parts sound too much like Piggyback lmao, but it's so sad yet sounds so lovely. 
It makes me feel so lonely. I'm a fucking sucker for that shit. I think this could make it into my top Melanie songs and I really have no explanation why. 
 
 
Her vocals sound really different in many places of these tracks. I really like it. It sounds more raw and natural to her tbh, even if I'll always want to sing the CB tracks more.

loving this new ep! it definitely feels more personal, which i really like. i've been a stan since 2015 and seeing her visually and lyrically evolve is very inspiring  my favs are notebook, field trip and numbers

yep, these are songs more personal to her rather than adding anything to the Cry Baby storyline

Just finished the first listen. Honestly, it slaps. Great lyrics, melodies, vocals, production 
 
Numbers is the best one, followed by Notebook, Test Me, Brain & Heart and The Bakery
