  1. Honestly, that would be my worst nightmare lmao. We need it on spot 39 at the lowest.
  2. Nice! More news that will annoy the haters below. List of songs that Tough has already outstreamed on Spotify in 10 days: Grandfrather, please stand... Interlude - The Trio Nectar of the Gods Looking for America Beautiful Dance till we Die Kintsugi Fingertips For Free Buddy's Randezvous Lost at Sea J.M. Interlude J.B. Interlude Say Yes to Heaven Anyma Remix Hollywood Bowl Cat Power's Woman Flipside
  3. it's so funny to me that people here are slamming this. A fun bop with a great hook, banging production and a superb beat. The rare Lana bop. My boyfriend who hasn't liked a Lana song since Cinnamon Girl, has learned the lyrics to Tough in 2 days. The song is easy listening that will put Lana back on the radio for the first time in half a decade! Can you all just take a chill pill and go listen to your Bartenders and interludes and stop crapping on Tough just because it's not a standard-issue "fuck me to death" Lana song? Let Lana have some fun, some radio play and some success. Thanksss
  4. I so do. Track number 4 to mix things up. Just like Doin' Time. Or A&W. Also, the song has already outstreamed the OB interludes, Hollywood Bowl, For Free, Buddy Rendezvous, and Lost at Sea on Spotify in a little over a week. We need a hit song on Lasso fro the overall, cumulative streaming numbers. Kind of like what Summertime Sadness does for BTD. And if you don't like the song, just skip it, or remove it.
  5. wtf is as&c? can we Please retire these abbreviations? Especially for upcoming projects we dont even know yet.
  6. When are we gonna know what Billboard spot it took?
  7. "so glad to see other people not looooooving the song" It's comments like this that really make me wonder if we even deserve Lasso.
  8. God bless good journalism the interviewer who asked lana about lasso point black is a legend, if not the only person with a brain who has approached lana this year - aside from elle he can top me any time
  9. Yeah, i posted that here originally. Soo good. Wouldn't mind it if Lana just made that song into her own. Would be a good little brother to Ride.
  10. Annoyingly, Fantano decided not to do a weekly track review this week. So, we'll never find out what he thinks of Tough. I don't think he would necessarily like it, (maybe "Meh" with criticism of autotune and lyrics?), but would have been fun to hear.
  11. You know which super old song of hers I love might actually sound good on Lasso? Aviation. Anyone remember this track? I always thought it was brilliant. A country rework could sound fantastic.
  12. Seems Tough has shown a significant upward trend and strong daily streaming numbers. Definitely will perform higher than Say Yes to Heaven. Edit: t's still number 1 Lana track on my local iTunes That hasn't happened with one of her songs in many years. Summertime or Y&B are always the top, maaybe West Coast. This is huge. To give you an idea: none of the songs from her last three albums ever even cracked the top 10 on iTunes
  13. let's not joke about that unpunished will smith crime, please. It's horrendous, and he should have served time also, no UV slander here. 😊 Still adore the record. I just don't think it's her strongest one lyrically and is a bit front-loaded
  14. Apparently, it already reached Billboard Bubbling Under after 2 days of tracking only. But we need to keep streaming the shhit out of this.
  15. Some of the films I can't help watching when they're on Some Like it Hot The Wizard of Oz Moulin Rouge! Rear Window The Favorite Call Me By Your Name Jaws Lost in Translation Poor Things My Neighbor Totoro Paddingon 2 The Grand Budapest Hotel Mind-blowing films I wouldn't necessarily want to watch "forever" Come and See Psycho Capernaum Dogville A Separation A Clockwork Orange Crash (David Cronenberg's Crash, not the Oscar winner) Brokeback Mountain All About My Mother
  16. Chemtrails would a good one to live in for sure. Chill suburbia, country club, LSD. Fabulous
  17. There's only one right answer to this question: Venice Bitch.
  18. strongly disagree. White dreess, Chemtrails (the song), Wild at Heart, Not all those who wander, Dance till we die, and dark but just a game are quite interesting lyrically. As for "thought provoking", it's a more subtle record for sure, but there's definitely food for thought. Maybe not so much in a philosophical sense but atmospheric, painting a picture. i find Ultraviolence to be overrated lyrically tbh. Plenty of repetitive lyrics (sad girl, is this happiness, guns and roses), and button-pushing with no substance (money, power glory, fucked my way up...) in the second half. So, I wouldn't be attacking Chemtrails when there's UV.
  19. Even if we count the two Blue Jeans ones, that's still not more than NFR which had 8, no? Speaking of facts...
  20. That's not gonna subside though. You think Taylor's not gonna drop a new album next year? The industry is currently set up in a way where releasing new music yearly is very much preferred.
  21. Where do you all think this will land on Billboard 100? I predict spot #15 or so.
  22. The Grammy nods are on November 8th, apparently. Any chance we get Lasso before then so it could qualify? What does everyone think?
  23. Disagree. I don't count the two versions of Blue Jeans as two videos. I count it by song And MAC and VB videos are great imo, as far as home made videos go. Gonna give the edge to NFR.
