  1. Ok, so AW is the first and only song I've seen today that actually worked well. And the crowd seems to agree.
  2. honestly, billie is dope af. i feel like she was doing a lana a solid. And then to see lana bomb for as long as she was, and to step in and save it. Very cool. i woulda ran for my life lmao
  3. now to make things worst, billie is gonna make the crowd go wild - with a ballad that actually works at a festival. never could i have imagined this levels of cringe. also, WHY would you have two guests back to back? what a mess
  4. she literally doesn't know when to sing. like, you choose 5 megs slow songs at coachella in a row and you can't even sing them properly batiste is working hard to salvage it tho.
  5. At this tempo, watch her do Bel Air or Not All Those who Wonder are Lost.
  6. Bartender, ob, norman and arcadia in a row. And then hit ''em with candy necklace πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Where are: off the races, aw, cola, national anthem, radio, doin' time, high by the beach, blue jeans, love, etc. to add some oomph? why has she given up on her songs with a pulse? Honestly, been a fan for 10 years and this is her quietest and most boring set.
  7. lana's brief to her team: sad. I want it really sad.
  8. lana's brief to her team: sad. I want it really sad.
  9. and it's not even that good. Total mid lana song. Why she keeps singing it every god damn time is beyond me. she couldn't have made this more fans-only if she tried. 😫
  10. it's lcd for sure. But coachella prolly asked her not to mention drugs
  11. another issue is that she's not smiling and vibing with the audience at all. Doesn't look happy to be there. With the slow songs gallore and the quiet on stage and off stage, the whole thing is a bit narcotic.
  12. i love that song obviously, but that is not a coachella song lana baby. Same old recycled set.
  13. she's nervous af tbh. The confidence is lacking. Also, is this the same old set she's been playing for years with pretty when you cry, bartender etc? i was really hoping she'll mix it up a bit, do some more recent stuff, bring on guests...
  14. thank you, darling. ❀️ Can't believe i misses those. but i'll find 'em later.
  15. Ok just woke up and watching Cherry. Can't believe that bitch started on time for once. πŸ˜‚ How many songs did i miss and which ones? πŸ˜–
  16. Same here. Going to bed now and waking up just in time for coffee and the stream. πŸŒ™ night y'all
  17. i meam that would be such a smart PR move. Huge festival, huge crowd, live stream. also, billie teasing her album right before this appearance with lana. also, her album content reeking if lana. the collab is HAPPENING.
  18. Yeah, that guy was over the whole thing before he even arrived. What's more, he seems to be checked out of his career completely, not having released a record in about 5 years and focusing on his f-ing jewelry shop, etc. What a waste. He used to be my fav male singer. I replaced him with The Weekend as my number 1.
  19. Apparently, tickets were slow and sales are down. Quite surprising given that it's not just Lana but also Doja Cat, Tyler, Ice Spice, etc. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/apr/12/coachella-ticket-sales-down She needs to nail this.
  20. Okay, so since Billie is literally there, and her new album REEKS of Lana - is it safe to assume that they have a collab and it will premier at Coachella?
  21. Yeah, it's her strongest opening trio in a while - stronger than BB's and OB's imo.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised/nor be against the set she's done recently - starting with Jimmy Jimmy, etc with just some guest stars, and a couple of new tracks. Or just one from Lasso would be fab, with the single dropping on streaming on the same night. That would be a very cool way to launch a new single.
  23. Guys, when is Coachella starting and where is it live streaming? Hope it's okay to ask for a link to this....

    BjΓΆrk

I used to adore Bjork. I think Vespertine is one of the greatest albums of all time. Huge fan of Homegenic and some of the others too. But everything she's put out after Biophilia, which was the last of her albums I listend to multiple times, is too avantguarde for me. She lost me. And that genuinely makes me sad. Her music is just too depressing and strange for me now. And mind you - I'm not pining for pop songs. (Like, I said, I'm a Vespertine fan so slow is fine by me). But the music is just... Bizarre.
