Your woman. White town.

This song is an incredible gift to her fans as well as an impressive middle finger to her critics. Her writing is so clever, I admire her confidence and her willingness to tell it like it is, no matter what.

Something You Love, Something You Hate

I love being a morning person. I hate being endlessly shat on for being a morning person. (Yes, life is intrinsically unfair.) I have a swimming pool! And lots of low battery things ....... -

I think so. I'm surprised by how many different versions of her songs are out there. -
"Where are all the trailer parks? Where are all the Christmas lights?" (From I Talk to Jesus) I love that song, and the image she's creating when she reflects on being in Alabama.....Merry Christmas!

I found an ultraviolence version of wildflower wildfire, and it's really great. It doesn't by any means replace the original, but it's an excellent companion.💙 -
Riverside.....Lana Del Rey and Barrie James O'Neil 💙

I love Radiohead too, have since the 90's. I was upset that she got accused of ripping off Creep with Get Free. There are musical similarities, but it's not even close to a ripoff. Intellectual property is a tricky business, but Lana has proven she doesn't have to copy anyone else to be truly great.💙

Her lips are beautiful, and I dont like that she smokes either. But I embrace it as part of her, because.....it's Lana. 💙
-
That sounds like something that would happen to me! Relatable, thank you! Yes, you do. She already gave me a lifetime too, and I haven't heard all of her music. Yet*

Well said. Not to mention she has publicly dragged Lana more than once, and I have a zero tolerance policy for that BS. Don't mess with my queen.💙

This song is so intense and powerful, it makes me feel like I'm being pulled gently up through a warm, soft tunnel with my eyes closed, surrounded by fleece, silk and love. I've wanted to explain and share this feeling for many months now, but nobody in "real" life would get it. I hope someone here does ...... 💙

This album absolutely deserves discussion as much as the rest. Summertime Sadness was the first song of Lana's I EVER heard. It was on the radio, in the middle of winter. I liked it so much I looked up the singer, and the rest is history. Never has a single artist created so much amazing music imo. I admire the way she creates things. Video Games is such a brave, unique and unforgettable project. I could go on forever........💙 -
California, it's gorgeous. The words are so simple but the song is so profound, it helps me deal with some pain around my best friend's death 11 years ago. I don't know how she does it 💙

I was a huge Mazzy fan in the 90s and I have previously noticed similarities in their style. I checked out Bridge because i didn't remember it, and for sure the opening music and the tempo/mood of the song are comparable. I still love Jesus a bit more, partly because Lana is my queen forever and partly because the overall song is prettier and more profound in my opinion. Good ear for sure! 👍💙

White Mustang, how could I forget that was on LFL?!? Wonderful song, gorgeous video, classic Lana. I enjoy playing it on the piano.

I could agree if we included Tomorrow Never Came. Perhaps an alternative to Sean Lennon's contribution would make this song more lovable to others? And the album cover is one of my favorites, so I wouldn't want to do away with that. She is perfection in her lacy dress with daisies in her hair. 💙

I think this just shows how much faster girls mature than boys.

The BB album is a work of art like all the others. Wildflower Wildfire is a stand-out because of the sharp, engaging language and style. Cherry Blossom is entrancing and beautiful, reminiscent of "Old Money" in the way it's musically lovely and wisely sentimental. This artist is truly one of a kind, and I believe she created her own genre because nothing that exists already is adequate to contain her, describe her or categorize her music and her art. Long live the Queen. 💙
