I agree. I think for K-12 Melanie should've just given us music videos instead of a movie. I know she released music videos but they were just clips from the movie itself. If she had done that we could've gotten K-12 in 2017. Also I wish After School would've been an album instead of an EP but that's just my opinion.

I would swap The Principal with something else like Strawberry Shortcake or Nurses Office, but the others would definitely make the best singles.
In fact Nurses Office went off so hard in the trailer it would probably have made the best first single (had she only made better decisions with the sound effects it would be my fave too).

And now she posted this, probably because she's oversensitive to criticism and doesn't like how many people vocally hated the 'EVIL' visualizer. What did she honestly expect? This era has been a mess. She's always pulled the "clearly you just don't get my art" card though, so I guess I'm not surprised.

She said it was her favorite video she'd planned so it sucks we never got to see it. Bakery was probably a lot easier/cheaper to make though(+covid restrictions), so I get it. Maybe her ideas can be reused someday if they weren't too specific to the After School theme?

That Trilogy teaser, man.. I'm not enjoying this era at all anymore, and cannot believe we're nearly a year into it now and it still has almost zero substance. I'd rather see a 3 minute video of her talking, without the mask, and get nothing else for months than be fed crappy CGI teasers and bad music videos with a dash of boring, faceless live shows.
 
I was listening to DEATH yesterday too, and all I could think of was how wasted its potential was! She could've made her most powerful, heartfelt and beautiful MV yet(same with VOID) but instead it felt overdone and underdone all at once. I'm confused at what she's trying to achieve here, and I definitely don't want to know what a Portals movie would look like if the MVs can't even land. Just disappointed with this era all around.
