Is it bad that I want her to put a re recorded AKA track on Honeymoon just so that we'll be sure that at least one of the songs has good lyrics?

It's OK, but a bit boring.  It's not just that it's slow -- but that it's slow and there aren't a lot of lyrics, so the words feel dragged out to finish the lines.  Also, her slow songs are better with more interesting drum/bass lines, IMO.  I'd take pretty much every song on BTD over this.
 
She sounds great vocally, but I hope the rest of the album is more interesting.  If it's 14 songs of this, it will be a huge let-down. 

side note: i was listening to starry eyed and the west coast acoustic radio mix and i could see honeymoon sounding like the two mixed
 
also, music isnt too expensive to make. the lofi lana is the best anyhow. she'll always have a computer and a song in her heart and her stuff will always leak until the internet crashes. so stahp this fighting about promo. she has plenty of money and time to make music. shes already a popular artist.

I think people have a tendency to overrate songs that are melancholic, wistful, and slow due to the subtlety and emotional depth they associate with them, even if they're simplistically written and have some pretty standard/boring lyrics. Not to mention the Old Money melody isn't even original. If you're gonna take some artistic license why not pick a more interesting melody?

The little Cruel World intro she sang last year is honestly so, so overrated. Like, why would it make the song "100000 times better"? Lol

Arthur Lynn is an ex-boyfriend of hers. You can read about some exes and potential exes in Lanalysis - it's a good place to get started on the "Lana world," although some of the info in the first post is outdated.

I don't really think it has THAT much significance. Lana isn't the first to use Del Rey together (Del Rey cars, Marina Del Rey, etc, etc) so she probably just liked the way it sounded. I think I remember her saying before that she liked the way it rolled off the tongue or something to that effect.

I'm thinking she says "as I sold them off.." cuz that's a common term used. "pawning something off".. Yea? feel me?

Lana's would be shot on her iPhone so about 2 dollars?

Hey yall. Ever since Lana Del Rey put out Ultraviolence and didnt have crazy vocal layers, I decided to make a sonic monster out of one of the scariest lana songs. I'm really interested the demos where lana has a bunch of scary vocal layerz and i wanted to make something extreme. idk. spooky scary noise!
 
(also i wish she would make music this scary)

ive been thinking about covering Trash Magic(the version with "all thats real to me is"...), Kill Kill, Serial Killer, Kinda Outta Luck, Lolita, or Diet Mnt Dew. But I think it will be a month or two until I cover another Lana song!
