  2. First that comes to mind is "I'm always going to be right here" from How to Disappear. I find it extremely moving within the context of the song

  4. This and Summer Wine. She + deep voice males is the best match
  5. I think she got it right this time for me. I used to say that I love minimal settings for Lana shows (not backing tracks, stripped back versions...) but today she went so far in the opposite direction that I loved it.
  6. i mean, this is the campiest she's ever been and i'm loving it
  7. i don't get why she loves WM so much. It always seemed to me like half finished or domething. Love the guitar here tho
  8. I think this is my very first time watching a Lana video on repeat.
  9. I agree but for me the biggest problem is the excessive use of prerecorded background vocals in her live performances from at least LFL era (btw not really "background vocals" since they are usually mixed way more upfront than her mic feed). I don't get either why she stays silent for whole verses and only starts singing when those overpowering BV come in. It's not that weird in her poppiest songs, but in tunes like Bartender... what's the point? And honestly, the dancers are cute in some songs (like Cherry) but not during the whole show. I think she would better get some real background singers and some orchestra on stage like in her Paradise days. It's way more fitting for her style and she has the talent to pull that off! That's the setting where she really shines imo
  10. "...and not simple, it's trigonometry, it's hard to express, I can't explain" Relatable because I'm terrible at math but girl...
  11. Also, not in a "catchy/pop perfection way" but I love the change in the last chorus of Mermaid Motel, the new harmony makes it sound almost deranged.
