heres all i did
death - removed  the end transition
void - removed the beginning transition + generated a fade in for the 'in the void in the void in the void void void void...' part
tunnel vision - removed the pah-pah-ah outro
faerie soiree - inserted the pah-pah-ah as intro
spider web - cut off the outro nature sounds at the end
leeches - inserted the nature sounds at the beginning and took out that muffled mess at the end + the guy yelling
battle of the larynx - cut off the interlude/outro mess
the contortionist - moved the last bit of the BOTL outro (violins) to the intro and cut off the outro
moon cycle - added the intro from the contortionist's outro
nymphology - removed the rap outro
evil - inserted the rap as intro

i have moved the tunnel vision outro to faerie soiree's intro
moved the emerald rap from nymphology to evil's inro

I actually don't hate this album. It's not amazing or showstopping but I'd listen to it again. A solid 6/10. It could've been Much better though. Not to beat a dead horse but it's crazy how she scrapped some of her best songs but included songs that are genuinely terrible or just ok. I don't know what she was thinking when she made those decisions. This could've been her best album but ended up being just alright. At least it's a step up from K-12.

My favorites are faerie soiree and tunnel vision. Death, the contortionist and spider web are also very up there. I love the new guitar in faerie soiree. It needs to be loud n high qual for the whole experience

I completely forgot how good Schizo was... the fucking bridge 

k-12 was nice but ultimately mediocre and aged pretty badly  it’s still a thousand times better than this era so far though. i’m just hoping melanie proves me wrong once the new album is out and i fall in love with the entire project. also crybaby will forever be her best work  the production DEVOURS all of her new stuff

I mean… Maybe unpopular opinion but Drama Club, Lunchbox Friends, Show & Tell, Nurses Office and maybe Detention eat up anything in the album for the exception of Tunnel Vision of course! 
 
y’all will kill me! I know the lyrics in K-12 are horrible but at least those instrumentals slap hard! This album doesn’t have upbeat songs except the previously mentioned. Also the concept here is all over the place while in K-12 at least you could tell the vision she had! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the Medieval fantasy fairy aesthetic, but then she throws songs like BOTL or Light Shower that make 0 sense with the concept and throw me off big time. The leaks were a lot more cohesive… she should have sticked with it (even if it leaked the GP wouldn’t care) 
 
And don’t get me started on the costume thing… but that’s another thing
 
the only one in Portals I see myself coming back to bop a little is TV… maybe time will tell otherwise but for now… it’s like that 

However!!! If I take in consideration the leaks and the album I’ll make with them (including bops like Garden, Dragons Blood, Barely Juice and N&T) it’s far superior to anything since Crybaby…
 
as for now, the “official” album doesn’t have me hyped 

to be fair, it did hit harder live than in the album version

also… the homophonic part is an obvious joke  what I meant is that not leaking the album seems part of the straight agenda by not givin us gays what we want 

crack the case and get the cd for us 

crybabys music videos give 90's tim burton, k-12 is that weird transitional period in the early 2000s and this new video for portals is full washed up bad cgi tim burton

I do think too much of the video was her floating up out of the grave. Kinda boring

I'm sorry y'all but I cannot be the only one who was disappointed in that video

Next time I have a get together with all the gays I’m calling it a Faerie Soiree 

these lyrics are honestly hard to support. might be unstanning... theyre just like, weird.

I will save my judgments for Light Shower on release day
