i remember in interviews in the past, she said her mom was crazy strict and wouldn’t let her do a lot of things. During her early career she had to sneak around to be able to go to events, and send her stuff to producers, etc. she was also raised by her grandmother for most of her childhood. Moms of young female singers are often so odd. Tonia reminds me so much of Madison Beer's mom Tracie back in the day. She would also argue with her daughter's haters and be a little too invested in her career without even managing it. I was a veteran follower since 2013 when this was present. We've all met these types of moms who live vicariously though their daughters. At least for Sky it seems like everything was her own ambition.

I remember she was spending a lot of time going back and forth from LA to Denmark for a long time while they were dating and then all of a sudden it just stopped but I never knew what happened. She seemed to be really into him but he always seemed like an asshole and super full of himself. But I still love Painkiller, that song is like a drug for real.
 
didn’t she also date someone who ended up dying? I don’t remember the details. I think his name was Henry, or maybe I’m confusing this with someone else…and then there’s Harry Styles lol.
 
ugh I wish she would find a quality guy. I low key always wished that she would have dated Rory Culkin, they made a cute couple in Lords of Chaos. I think finding a solid indie actor type would be her jam

are you saying that Tonia said that Zachary Cole got sky addicted? Or the fan was saying that and Tonia was denying it?
 
I love Tonia, but I know for a long time she and sky weren’t on the best terms so I could see her possibly being under the wrong impression at the time. Or maybe not idk

Pretty soon after the Downhill Lullaby release, around April-May 2019 I believe? Although the cheating was probably going on for a while ddd. The groupie posted pictures of her with Elias in bed all over her Instagram and another Iceage fan had to dm them to Sky

Agree, anyone can easily tell that she used to have some issues with drugs back then, but I see her now in a healthier place.

And it's pretty clear there was a point of her life where she was under the influence of drugs often.
 
I'm glad she's now healthier, you can easily tell she's not using drugs (either at all or not that often when she's in public). 
 
 
 
It's hard to now if she was a drug addict back then or just a heavy user, because there was a time where she was drugged most of her time in public. 
 
But she's not in that place anyone, she seems like she either uses drugs in a more responsible way or maybe she is not using them anymore.

Seems like there are three types of fans here:
 
1. The ones who get upset when someone call her a drug addict. 
 
2. The ones who romanticize Sky and drugs and see that as an aesthetic or a vibe. 
 
3. The ones who know she uses drugs and doesnt care if she's an addict or not, or if it's part of her "aesthetic or vibe", they just want music from her.
