It is a separate project. Though I still view it as an EP rather than an album. Lana said in 2012 interviews that it’s a separate body of work (than BTD), and the EP has a separate tour, era etc. Kinda bothered me when people merged paradise as a part of BTD Plus… paradise is 100000x better than BTD…

See… if you hear SOC acapella when Lana almost ends the bridge ) You’re crumbling suddenly) and transition to the chorus again (You are … ) you can clearly tell it’s a different vocal take and it sounds messy… I fucking love SOC though. The leaker Honeymounz noticed this too actually! Here’s what I am talking bout: also, on the song’s instrumental - you can hear random guitar clicks… that bothers me a little but i guess it was intentional. Here: honestly, uv album mixing was messy… lana herself also said that. She had to mixed the album all over again bc of the messiness from dan’s rework…

Actually the very first mention of summertime sadness was august 5/6 2011! When Lana tweeted: Kiss Me Hard Before You Go - Summertime Sadness. I Just Wanted You To Know - That baby You The Best. and on the same month - Aug 2011 (i forgot what date exactly) she changed one of the tags for Video Games mv to “SUMMERTIME SADNESS”
