there's a reason my username has the the lyrics to this song one of her best songs when I saw this live I think I transcended, her voice was so heavenly. everything about this song I love. the psychedelic vibes and guitar solo, the eerie instrumentals and hauntingly gorgeous vocals. I was in love when I first head his song back in 2014 and I still am forever obsessed

Barcelona, ES @ Primavera Sound - May 31st, 2024
shadesofblue replied to Elle's topic in 2024 Performances
god I hope realistically though, this is most likely what will happen she seems to hate the whole livestream thing, it sucks as a fan but I get it. I'd be extra stressed out if I was performing in front of a huge crowd and on top of that, hundreds of thousands of people all over the world were watching me up close too -

I think this is the first time I haven't seen media refer to her as "~summertime sadness singer~" A&W the masterpiece that you are!! she's literally glowing I love her cute fits lately. (other than the hair color,) if you put this picture up with other times she visited Italy 10ish years ago, I'd assume it was taken during the same time- 57 replies

Oh it was disrespectful. I know it’s a comedy (barely ) skit show, but they were very critical to someone who had just released their first album and debut TV performance. It was more than them just poking fun at her, imo it came off pretty misogynistic. I recently showed my mom the skit they did of Lana because she watches SNL sometimes, and she was surprised how mean they were to her. I doubt they would be as rude to an artist in her situation at the time today. If SNL did, they’d 100% get a ton of shit for it.

I love how it takes us 10+ pages to decode what she’s saying

the way I've been manifesting her to do a jazz inspired album also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_American_Songbook

I was about to say maybe you should change your user name from themusicbizisgonegoingcountry but I love how you already updated it

wishing you good luck! it's hard at first, but it's so worth it in the long run. you just have to get through the first couple of days and after each milestone it gets a lot easier. my skin looks better, my body feels better in general, and it's nice not having to always bring it everywhere with me

What has Lana done for you and how has she changed you?
shadesofblue replied to Divisive Princess's topic in Lana Thoughts
Lana has deff shaped me since I started listening to her right before high school and now into my mid-late twenties. She's taught me how to see beauty in small things, even the most mundane things in life. She taught me to embrace femininity in whatever way I want it to look like. I can express my lighter feminine side while also embracing my darker side. Listening to her just makes me feel prettier and made me gain confidence. Her music has comforted me during times I needed it the most like breakups, milestones, trauma and even happy times. Each album aligns with different eras in my life and reflect my experiences. Her songs really click for me when dealing with mental health problems in a way that almost no other artist can for me. I've come to so many realizations in my life with her music that have taught me lessons. I've learned to be more free-spirited and break free from trauma and toxicity. I've grown to appreciate friendships, family and romantic relationships more as well. -
I love how lana is friendly with them both but refuses to promote her own music or go on stadium tours while billie and Taylor are the opposite lana is the peacekeeper
