Lana's Songs That Would Suit Other Movies/TV Shows
Embach replied to Cherry Blossom's topic in Lana Thoughts
Honeymoon title track or honestly any song from Honeymoon album would suit PERFECTLY in Angelina Jolie's By The Sea (2015) -
Was Rock Candy Sweet/Loved You Then produced by Jack Antonoff? Also who produced Zodiac? Zach Dawes?

The era felt kinda non-existant really. She only dropped three singles without telling us out of nowhere, then in September she deleted her lanadelrey accounts after releasing Arcadia and in October she just quickly dropped the album and the MV for Banisters and another one for Arcadia. We had that iconic honeymion insta livestream though. 0 radio and magazine interviews. Also there weren't many photoshoots. Even COTCC era had more events than BB.

Idk, I thought it was I think it was more a Swiftie thing

I remember many things but I just never remember the exact track listing of each album. I just know which songs are on each album. But not the track order...

I realised that Marina's Purge The Poison is really similar to Billy Joel's We Didn't Start The Fire, in a way how both are passive-aggressively naming one of most chaotic events of the past decades

There's this old cringe memory which always comes to my mind when I listen to Florida Kilos

In that Vevo interview from BRIT Awards 2016, Lana's arms crossed-attitude and her respose is always sending me She was so queen there, serving Honeymoon, the beautiful flowery dress, the red hair and the fluffy shoes. Not only wasn't it one of the best looks of Honeymoon era and 2016 but one of her best looks of her career Also the video quality is so crystal clear, that's surprising for a video from 2016 Lana starts speaking at 0:48 and also at 1:50

I mean Freak was released in cinamas too if I'm not wrong lol But I feel like this would be an experience for those people who didn't have the chance to go to the actual concert

Lana's Nectar Of The Gods is quite identical to Lykke Li's I Know Places. Especially the guitar and the humming towards the end.

While she's not my favorite photographer, her shoot for L'Officiel Paris 2013 will always be my favorite Lana photoshoot, every image of it is just so breathtakingly beautiful. It really reminds me of Honeymoon too

I like her managers. They actually respect her wishes and Lana has been with them for a long time too, like since 2009. If Lana didn't like them, she would have left them a long time ago. Lana loves them too, so it kinda icks me when her fans talk shit about her managers... I love her band too, they deserve credit too, they have been with her for a long time too and I love that Lana is close friends with them. And I love her staff too (stylists, hairdressers, make-up artists). They love and respect her and Lana loves them too. They have sticked with her since her breakthrough too, I believe. They're really kind too, I love reading their Instagram posts about Lana And I love Chuck's photography. Idk why people hate it. I think Chuck's style suits Lana. She's her sister, she knows what looks good on Lana.

I'm probably the only person on earth who doesm't see any similarities between Get Free and Creep. Like the chorus part what people say that is similar, I don't really find it similar. But I do find Watercolor Eyes and Creep intros very similar honestly, idk if I am the only one who thinks that.

This!!! I don't hate them, they're not bad but I can live without listening to them. I do have to admit that the last time I listened to these two songs was in October 2021. I never felt any connection to them.

This!! I'd like to see some Gorillaz, Radiohead, Portishead, PJ Harvey, all the 90s alt vibes!
