Actually "Paradise" the title was recently registered as cowritten with Emile Haynie, and it's never been confirmed as the song we already have. Not the first time an old song appears registered later ("Queen of Disaster"), but we know she loves that word and it's a possibility of being something else entirely. Maybe this is connected.

Right, like less produced. Stripped. I guess "night" is just a cooler way to say that. It's a great twist on "Dark Night", which is pretty upbeat. It looks like all the night versions on the album are made from the ballads, though, but I'd like to see it on even more upbeat songs like "Pilgrim". Right. Since the whole album was produced by one guy, it was probably a conscious decision to create flow. I've always noticed this too. I've always thought it was especially conscious between OSCYS and Gramma, the way the slower song kinda crescendoes into the Gramma beats.
