Introducing DEAR LANA - The Lana Del Rey fanbook
Sitar replied to TIARNZUS's topic in LanaBoards Updates
I really don't want IRL friends coming here and looking at some of the stuff I say, must I tweet? ~third unanswered question~ -
Curious about the Subway demo. Hopefully they send me my digital pre-order around midnight so I can listen to the bonus tracks, as I'll be traveling the next day. But Subway has very cool production so I'd love to hear it a little stripped down and simple. Then again, if it was just stripped down they probably would have labelled it "acoustic" like the other two. We shall see. Are you buying it, Madrigal?

Okay but THREE DAYS guys That is, until I see them live. I guess the album coming out is exciting, too

Have you checked out Lana's official store?
Sitar replied to comeintomybedroom's topic in Lana Thoughts
Why? -
Oh well She's also supposed to have something with Professor Green this year, right?
-
We're allowed to already thirst for new/unreleased material since the album had barely any new songs, right? I need the Lock You Up demo in my life.

Conflicted, I usually associate tee shirts with an all-over print with trashy people. Also designs made from guns and roses with trashy people. But I want one of those

All you have to do is mention the name Lucky Ones to get a page on it in any given thread. Powerful, I'll give it that. -
Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Sitar replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
Maybe someone can make a thread for that awards show under the Appearances section in News. Someone with more info -
I've never seen a $70 basic TEE SHIRT, wow. Need to know the rest of the merch, not here or this slow reveal.

Lmao one of the first songs a lot of fans were introduced to and it took Pin Up Galore and Gogo Dancer to get the stripper rumors starting.
-
I hear "silver pole" now.
-
Hi, I merged this with your other thread, I think it'll get more attention if you do it all in one thing
-
Same tbh I've spent around $100 on this woman in her short career so do not worry about me and my support

Will you still love me when my pussy tastes like dust and Ensure?

Some good answers in this thread: http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/2204-favorite-lana-songs/

I know, they'd both probably appear in my top 10 if I were to order a list of favorite Charli songs, with Valentine somewhere close to the top. Who knows what she intended them for...But I'd enjoy that.

I will be silent as the grave if someone just sends me them. EDIT: Entire page dominated by Charli avs

That shirt is a little too Ed Hardy. Still deciding if it would be an embarrassment to wear.

I'm looking at the album in the grand scheme and not just this moment. I like to think that a few years down the line, the fact that very little of the material was new won't make any difference. It's just a reall strong album, speaking from someone who was very familiar with all the song on the album that she'd already put out. I think it's her baby because it's her perfect debut. For her, it probably never was a collection of her better tracks from prior releases. I can respect that. There's really great parts about the album even as someone who has been a fan for a while. Like you said, the sequencing and selection is great and the atmospheric touches really do the trick for me.
